 This was my favorite pic from last episode. I just really feel for this poor fellow. He will never see the light of day again. 

 Every winter the water in the Drowning chamber reservoir freezes and he can have a little extra space to move around for a few months. Somehow he always managed to make it back to his little ledge before the spring thaw. Poor, poor bastard.

 Oh Gomathzon! You beautiful, beautiful fortress. Yes, I think old Legendhelm turned out to be one of my favorite fortresses so far.....hopefully it doesn't fill to the brim with brookwater, eh? Guess we'll see!

 Gomathzon grows more impressive by the moment! Yes, the dwarves are continuing to build like bearded maniacs. Magnificent plans are soon to be completed.

Tileset Poll!

 Trying to get a gauge of what people want to see as a tileset for the next season of DF.

 I know a lot of peeps are turned off with my custom "Kruggbig.bmp" tileset and I don't really want to scare away new viewers. Also, the whole "readable text" thing I did a few eps back doesn't really work all that well at all; a lot of text is just missing or oddly jumbled. 

 This in mind, I really don't want to use any sort of mods or anything like that.  Too clunky for me...

The Summer...is Defeated

 And WHAT a shitty summer it WAS. Glad it's over, really.

 Well, hope you guys are getting pumped up over the new DF release AND the start of a new Kruggsmash "season" which will start a bit after that. I'm pretty amped to start up a new world and do some new stuff. Last season I spent the first HALF of it (at least) testing the waters and only NOW do I think I've got it. It'll be nice to START a new season at this level. It'll be a good un'!

Will there be balance?

 Curious to see if anyone thinks our DF world will ever see an age of balance before the series ends. I mean, we HAVE killed a TON of goblins. It's gotta be coming....right?

 Just wanted to take the time to thank you guys again for helping to support what i'm doing here. I certainly hope you're all still enjoying the show and I hope you're excited for the future as well. I have faith that with enough effort on my part, i'll get where i'm goin' ONE day and I hope you'll be there with me when that happens :)

Ageless War 7 - Sealed Fate

 The dwarves of Gomathzon have devised a new trap! But will it work? Or, will the demons invade the fortress and destroy EVERYTHING we've worked so hard for? Sincerely hoping for the latter.

Future Ideas

 An idea I been toying around with. How about a series based around D&D? A lot of people make these sort of vids but honestly, I find them pretty dull. 

 I thought it'd be fun to do a roleplaying session with one or maybe a group of people in a text-based format and then just read aloud everything that went down with crazy voices and junk. I could add some music to it, doodle up some pics and silly little animation-y things. I honestly think that'd end up being pretty good!&...

Will Krugg's trap work next episode?

 At the time of this writing, I actually have full confidence that the trap WILL work but haven't yet tried it out. I dunno, what do you fellas think?

Scraps from Underwater Fort 1: Towerlake

 This is a drawing I had doodled up but didn't end up using for the last Short Forts episode. I had managed to get my hands on a beat up old Kindle and wanted to use a new medium for a change. 

 I really liked the results and i'm actually considering trying to do ALL the drawings with it at some point in the future. You fellas will have to lemme' know what you think.

 Let's just take a second to show the Fiechters some respect! These fellas are goddamn musical magicians and I mostly use their music in the vids at this point! 

 Their "Dark Carnival" album fit the fort's current subject matter SO well that it is unreal. Like, goddamn wacky.
