I was working on the low poly for the slider of the gun. While doing some bake tests I encountered a bug in Marmoset that sorted out a problem that any 3d encountered while baking their normal maps. Usually if you have long triangles no matter what you do you get some weird shading errors which in general means you will need to optimize your mesh to a point where you don't have long triangles or using smoothing groups/hard edges you try to place them on perfect planar surfaces. Started working on a gun for John McClane. In Live free or die hard he used a sig sauer P220. I haven't made a gun in a long time and I'm not the biggest fan of making guns...but hey...someone has to do it.
