So, I haven't been posting much the last few days. This is because I got a commission that's about two characters together, so that takes longer than usual, between feedback from the client, and two characters and whatnot. If all is well I might finish it tomorrow actually. But we'll see.

So I absolutely loved how she looks in the Dragonflight loading screen so I definitely wanted to draw her. I was waiting for a full pic or model, which is why I chose to draw her at the end, but there's none yet. No idea what her role in DF will be but she looks great.

How the Summer Ingrid piece came to be, there was a lot more fiddling while drawing than it looks here but I didn't quite capture that, painting it also was a lot of trying out what worked including with the background but I think it definitely paid of!

So, this one took quite a long time haha. As you may have noticed when I did Samus, I've been experimenting so for this one I also took a long time seeing what worked and didn't. As well as thinking of the theme.

Summer Ingrid won the twitter poll I made last week, and I have thought on some ideas, and now that I have something, you may notice it says 1, indeed there's more coming on this. And yes, I'll be faster this time hah.

So this is the new shading technique I used for this one, is the grey-scale shading before colour is applied, This was particularly useful given I wanted to have different outfits and her bodysuit. 

It worked quite well, let me know what you think.
