Corrupted image file restoration?

Its either RIP to the artwork and start over, or it can be restored somehow.

What happened? I was nearly finished with this bit of artwork featuring Tiffany for Halloween, the goal was to finish it today and post it.

What happened instead? The power browned out then went out while I was saving, then a short bit later when everything was back I tried to open the artwork and all I got was a red, yellow mess, all the layers combined into one and its dead.

Work Load Progress.

So normally I like to show off WIPS such as ink or flat color, normally I hold off on posting the in between, doing the shading and such but this has been such a dry past 2 months that I wanted to show what Ive been working on in between things.

I spent a good chunk of yesterday doing some coloring work, getting the shading done on a few pictures. I tend to bounce back and forth between the projects based on how I feel or what I am in the mood for more.

Id like to start this off with a very big thank you to everyone and understanding the situation and lack of work. If you don't know, the long short of it is I'm trenching 2 foot down a thousand or so foot in the woods to bury a new water line to my home before winter, by myself, by hand.

The good news is, its about or over half way done! The bad news, Its taking longer then expected, I went at it harder then I should have last month and got myself into a lot of aches and pains which hav...

This month may be a little sparse on art.

I wanted to wait to make this journal until one thing was over, so I will start with that.

My mother had skin cancer and had her surgery Wed to remove it, and they got it all, so that's one thing off my mind, shes now cancer free, still has to keep an eye on it though.

Moose concept sketch.

He really dosent have a name yet, I will have to think of more details, this was just a concept idea that is kicking around in my head of a security guard at Tiffany's college.

A large heavyset moose guard, more details will come later as I get time to work on him, sadly Ive been so sore from trenching in the woods that I barely got this done. More to come for sure!

Now that I know how to make his nose at least, his antlers need work I feel, ill figure it out!
