Roughly a year ago I began the "Adventure Assets" series in response to feedback in that year's patron survey generally expressing a desire for more specific assets that might fit more niche scenarios or create visual interest in a map of otherwise more mundane pieces.

Over 5 years ago I released "Ships & Sailing Assets 1"; a what now seems like humble collection of furniture pieces alongside an assembly of varying shapes and sizes of ship templates to construct as you needed. Guys!
It has been 5 years (counting back to "Tree Assets 2") since I drew and painted a conifer tree. 5 years. As time has marched further and further away from that date I found myself becoming increasingly less likely to use them in maps and begin to lean more on the deciduous trees that I'd made more recently. You might understand why then, I was rather eager to invest some time in creating a more modern set of these piney fellas.
