Wild throwbacks with Lauren...

Here’s another throwback for today from 2014. Looking back at past projects can be motivating, and in some cases (like these) good reminders of what I don't really wanna do again. Do I hate these? No. But how I framed them, how I produced them, how I finalized them – not inspiring to me anymore. It's cool seeing how you yourself grow and change.  

Also, was an interesting place too, that underground nightclub – except this was during the day.

Today’s post is also a throwback. 2019 as well. Something I thought worth sharing again as I loved this entire set but felt I never did enough with it. This was after Kayla and I shot in Florida (see last post), literally days later, as we both got inspired to go coast to coast and flew straight to LA after shooting in FL.

"Pop Summer" – something I've never shared.

Yes this work is available on my site as an exclusive print, personally signed by me as well, but I am posting it here just because I've never added it anywhere except my website.

And, I wanted to ask you all: Do you think this piece works? It's obviously absurdist in some ways, but I wanted to evoke a retro-erotica vibe with it, and I think it sort of works. But does it? Should I explore more work like this?

Studio editorial.

Since a lot of work I've done in the last 2 years has never been posted anywhere, or like this set, not posted in its entirety, I am going to be adding a LOT of "throwbacks" but also complete sets of throwbacks that simply have never been seen – right here on Patreon. Some shots were never posted because they'd not be allowed on social media anyway, so those works can live here.

This "outfit" was thrown together randomly, looks totally like it was, and we thought it was rad!

New work with Jade Wade in studio!

Had a great time working in studio with several different looks (I think we did like 10 sets?) with Jade, who is super fun to work with and is also so creative when it comes to styling of the projects she does.

New work with Genia in Mexico City...

These were super fun, went quickly on set as Genia moves so well, and on one of the sets I employed BorisFX Optics' light flare tools. So cool! Took a minute to determine what sort of look I wanted, but was super fun.

Beyond that, the rest of the work done in post is my usual C1 and Ps!

Mexico City and Tina, in studio.

I met and shot with Tina, an incredible model from Ukraine based in Mexico City, during my workshop at VitaMind studio in CDMX. She was a joy to work with, moved brilliantly, and was the ideal model for a class. While I didn't get a chance to work with her "for real" (only shot her during the class) I was extremely inspired by the images we got. Fab!

So, check out this set, and considering this was done during an active workshop, I'd say she killed it!

I love visiting Mexico, and this time I had the genuine joy of experiencing the beautiful and chaotic metropolis known as Mexico City (known as CDMX to the locals!)

Project with Raphaela Milagres

Went to LA in October 2024 and had just enough time for a quick project with Raphaela Milagres, and what an inspiring project it was! Rapha's styling and moods worked perfectly well at the location, and we knocked out several sets in something like 2 hours – everything was working and the results, I felt, speak for themselves. Thanks again, Rapha!

Side note: Later, Raphaela was also a "ring girl" at the Mike Tyson / Jake Paul fight...
