Release: December 2022 Promos

Happy holidays! Here are the promos for December 2022. You will get a Companion card of Nick (Nick's brother, Rick, is in the regular expansion). I also wanted to create something a little different/special for December. I created another solo dice rolling game called "Danger Room".

You use the same components from Quests Over Coffee to play (e.g. 3d6, 3 tokens). It's a little brain burny and it's a little min/max overload at times. Hopefully not too bad though!

Release: December 2022 Expansion "Bountiful Boon"

Hello friends! I was able to crank away on the 18 cards this month and I'm dropping the expansion "early". I'm still working on the promos piece and hoping that it'll be a cool surprise for you folks. Promos should land by the 23rd and ship out by the end of the month.

Expansion will release to the public on the 23rd so folks can enjoy it over the weekend!

Release: November 2022 Promos

Howdy! Releasing the promos today for you. What you'll get:

1. New Shop card with Trade spots from a totally legitimate business and new FREE spot for a shop keep that is out to lunch.

2. Star Grade card for the new scoring in rules v2.0 (double-sided).

Rules v2.0 Released - 2-Player Mode & Companions

New v2.0 rules are out! Includes a 2-player cooperative mode (spoiler: my head-to-head 2-player mode has to go back to the drawing board). Also includes rules on Companions, which will be included in November's expansion release: Enemies.

Howdy! Another month and another theme. To help, this month's release will feature the new card type you saw in the promos last month: Companions. There will also be the regular mix of Quests, Items, and maybe an Environment.

How to use Companion cards:

When you pay for help on a Quest, you may shuffle and draw a random Companion card to aid you on the Quest.

October 2022 Theme is "Magic"

Thank you all Patrons for voting! This month's theme will be magic! I have some interesting ideas with regards to Quests and Items. Having watched my kiddos play it recently I think I need to add outcomes (rewards, punishments) on further sides of the spectrum.

Also... there may be another card type coming soon. This "tiny game" may be getting a little too big!

Physical Tiers Locked for September, Reopen in October

Something I never expected to happen was that I'd get 10 Patreon members on the physical tiers. I literally only ordered 10 of each physical card to be made so we're sold out! I'll reopen it in October and plan for 2x that.

What I'm trying to say is thank you.

September 2022 Theme: Science

With the last two polls, we're going to be getting a lot of Science Quests for September! Wouldn't you agree, however, that magic is simply science that we don't understand yet? Hm? Just kidding.

September will also be an XL expansion as well since I'll be introducing the Environments card type for the first time. I'm expecting a chunky 27 card expansion.

September 2022 Promos Preview

Hello! It's me again. These are the 3 promo cards that will be included in September's set. "Environments" will be introduced in the next expansion.

You'll also notice a new card called "Badge Quest". These are like achievements. If you are able to satisfy the requirements you gain special abilities as a player. I'll introduce more of these over time, but wanted to make sure y'all get to play and experience them first.
