Three new story events are on offer in Alpha, just follow the quest log.
For consistency's sake the "A Visit" quest is best played after either Cait's 18th or Naomi's 11th quests. Or you can skip ahead for a couple of days and play it without prerequisites.
Alpha 2 fixes shoddy trigger in "Gazes Also" garage part.
