Things are a bit weird, still, for AMD. AGESA 1.0.02 (generally) offers better boost performance, but this AGESA lacks a lot of features. 1.0.03 ABB has the potential to run well (not too much voltage/heat, especially for the 3700x). However Gigabyte has been really on top of things this generation -- keeping up with updates, and providing lots of community feedback.

Today's video was on Gigabyte's motherboard and the perfect setup (there is a forum thread on that be sure to check out if you're picking up a GB motherboard to be sure you're getting everything out of your setup).
