Bolt Delay

So, I do the second series of renders for the Bolt comic, and.... they suck. The lighting is all washed out, the pics are for some reason waaay too small, and it's just.. it's just terrible. So, I'll do what I can but I can't promise it with the super-short month we have this time. Even with the extra day. B00.

Slightly more than half the comic is done, so ... fingers crossed.

Things are going good; this last quarter, I finally broke 80 patrons and that seems to be sticking. So, yay. I'd love to double my numbers, but it seems stuck at this level - no matter where I seem to 'advertise', the numbers stay pretty consistent. Still looking for ways to up that.

GASSED 3 - the new comic!

So, some shit went down. Comic Creator suddenly borked on me, hard, even after I changed all the pics to much smaller jpgs. It simply would not create a full pdf from the images. So, I had to split the pdf into two parts. The raw pics will be both available in their jpg and the full sized png.

Now, for this comic I tried something different - I went full quad HD on the images. This may well be beyond the ability of my crappy PC to deal with, memory-wise, as far as Comic Creator goes.&nb...

Gassed 3

Remember when I said I had everything ready to go and the comic would go out last Friday or so? Yeaaahhh. So I look at the pics from the render queue and all of them came out too dark because of my stupidity. Wholly my fault. Then the render queue decided to go nuts that night and render one pic for 13 hours straight. So, most of my render time shot to hell. 

Everything IS ready to be assembled now, but tomorrow is the day I have commitments until relatively late. We'll see. <...

Whew

OK, Gassed 3 is done, ready for rendering and then putting together as a comic. I hope that all happens before Saturday. Home stretch.

Death & Dudes!

While I love putting my dudes in peril, they usually get out of it more or less intact. However, a few of you at least might want to see a piece where the hero dies. Is this something you'd like to see? I know JohnH will, but what about the rest of you?

Two different costumes - can't get the Aquaman symbol to lay right on his chest in the bigger one, plus not as happy as I thought I'd be with the 'fish scale' shirt, but I might wind up using it.
