Nightbird Comic

The Nightbird story has hit some snags - I did the comic, then became dissatisfied with it - the middle part needs some re-shoots, as does the ending. The good news is that it will be at least five or six pages longer. The bad news is that all takes time to render, so it might be Sunday or Monday before it hits the board. I'll post some stills tomorrow to tide people over :)

Working on a new Lynx design. I still love the bare-legs for a sidekick, and this design lets me put in some of the orange that El Tigre's costume has - as well as some other elements I might experiment with. 

The main thing I'm unhappy with is the belt. The items that are supposed to affix to the belt do not.

This is a guy I'm currently working on -- a slacker college dude who is heir to the most powerful hero in the world. Once the first Astroman disappeared, then teenaged Astrolad inherited all his father's enemies... and had only half the power of his alien father to fight them. So he ditched the whole superhero thing, until one of his father's old enemies finds him.

Still a little undecided on his trunks - blue or red? Hmmm. Anyway, this pic needs to 'cook' a little longer to remove some ...

So, at some point I'll start re-posting those, or bundling them into comics or image sets. Now, I've learned a lot since those days so the images from that time are not my best work - they'll go to a lower tier than usual because of that. They will have the Y!Gallery tag.
