Working on a new system for my Gigachads.
A new type of skill tree for D&D.
I have thought about what kind of system I wanted to produce for ages. And I have also thought about what kind of JJK class I want to make.
And in the end I was like: "Why make just ONE class!? Why not make an entire skill tree that you can level up in alongside your Actual dnd class that gives you access to JJK abilities!"

So, an idea had been suggested to me by one of my Patrons, Ambers...

It's been an incredible trip away, seeing my family who I haven't seen for 7 months.
Myself, my partner and Blue are all now sitting in the airport, ready to fly back to Helsinki tonight.
I feel so lucky to both be a part of and to have made such a beautiful family.
Also, Blue has been amazing! Everyone adored her (obviously) uwu
But she also became best friends with everyone. She was a totally different dog by the end of the trip :3

Heyoooh!
So for the Ranger Subclass I am making for the Ranger Class, I have decided to give them a "Finishing Move".
This is akin to the Paladin's Divine Smite, but with more of a punch.
The ruling I have so far is:
BEFORE you make a Melee or Ranged weapon attack, you can choose to make it a "Finishing Move".
You can expend one spell slot to deal damage (based on the type of ranger that you are) to the target, in addition to the weapon's damage. The extra...

Fragarach is a magical sword based on Irish Mythology.
This ancient artifact has the ability to destroy magical items.
In a mini campaign this as an item was hunted down by my players as they travelled through leylines (travelling through time and space back to the future). And finally when they arrived back to the present day with this magical sword in hand, they could ginally destroy this evil artifacts controlling a corrupted god.

Here's a powerful character to throw at your players. They are focused on hunting down creatures of a specific Bloodline. I have mentioned "Feylords" here but feel free to swap that out with any of your player character's family line :D
I set this guy on my travelling level 12 players as an obstacle they had to avoid and run from any time they came across him.
