This is part one of our passage across the Gulf of Mexico. We make it about half way with light winds and calm seas and this episode shows what life is like at sea 24 hours a day. Part 2 will follow in a few days and that is when the weather turns and things get a little more adventurous.

I will start posting pictures and videos next week but this coming weekend I am headed down to the Kemah/Clear Lake area by Houston to do some boat shopping! I'm pretty excited about it! I am going to look at a couple Catalina 30s, Irwin 32, Hunter 34 and C&C 37. I just hope I can find the perfect boat and its in my budget range!
