Look what came yesterday! My pop up (it folds to a 30ish cm circle) greenscreen! Which is also a bluescreen on the other side! With a zip on cover which can turn it into a gold or silver reflector when you don’t need it as a backdrop! I AM EXCITE.
I gave my old greenscreen to Bruce, the chap who directed Flirting With Violence, because he can use it when he teaches and none of the rooms in my house will accommodate it any more.

Terrifyingly, I must attend some informational doodad about Ursa Minor's imminent PRIMARY SCHOOL EDUCATION (as in, from next September) next week, and so I can't do a premiere for Flirting With Violence.
The 10th December, however? Totally doable.
Bearing in mind that it has to be when I'm not at work, and so Tuesday afternoon or evening after bedtime, a poll: what time is best for you to premiere the episode and then have a quick stream afterwards?

Probably the tiredness is why it's so rambly. On the other hand (excitement!), there is a cameo from Ursa Minor, plus a little bit of footage from the final scene sprinkled in there. Albeit without sound, because there's a little tuning up to be done.
In the meantime, I am home from work because I have got one of those knock-you-off-your-feet viruses. So I am mostly napping and occasionally watching DVDs.

So it turns out I looked so tired in the last video because I was getting ill. I feel quite lousy and did not go to work today also I snuffle. But here's one I prepared earlier, as they say, where I attempted to make a video to explain to the director how I wanted the scene to play out.
And now you can see it too!
The final product turned out, I hope, something like this. But not quite.
Another video next week, with (I hope) a timeline for when you'll see the finished produc...

I was talking to Alex yesterday (who some of you might know as the LowSpecGamer, but I'm not sure we have a lot of crossover in terms of audience), and I said that the scene I'd chosen was basically 'how to flirt violently' and he said 'That would be a great title'.
Since he's quite good at this YouTube stuff, I have taken him at his word, and this is good because it helps with knowing the theme and direction of the eventual public video.

Good news, I have found a neat old farmhouse whose owner is happy to let us film!
Video will be forthcoming at a later point, but Kate/Petruchio has a place to be, and we're having a rehearsal tomorrow to block it, and all being well we're filming it on MONDAY. Eep.

Good news! This week we reached our Patreon goal for making a fight scene! (and now we are under it again, but we are close enough that we can do some preproduction).

The way this will probably work goes like this:
The end product is going to be a big long video outlining how fight scenes are planned and choreographed and rehearsed and shot and edited, with the actual thing we have made at the end of the video.
