Got to the point I wanted to today! His shading and lighting's first pass is entirely done. Tomorrow I want to do some adjustments, polish, and finish the background. Hoping to finish this Flamey entirely tomorrow~

Managed to get the sketch a bit more refined to the point of doing a first pass at color. Next week I'll get to starting lighting! I may end up redoing the grass a bit, but we'll see. Kinda wanna focus on the character from here.

This monster is taking so much longer than I thought. And that's after I reanalyzed it after finishing the sketch. Lineart is about half done. Should be able to finish the lineart next time so it'll be ready for color then.

Today was my Free Day for the month! For those who don't know, it's the one day per month I schedule for myself to do whatever the flip I want. Continuing from yesterday. Got flats down today! I'm trying something slightly different this time, so pardon the roughness at the moment. I'm basically establishing light sources earlier than I normally do, so all the flats are already subdued since I chose a nighttime scene, and I blocked in the highlights from the start.
