Zenberu is now complete (with an alternate loincloth version)! I learned a lot while working on this and trying the B&W method to digital painting again. But I did things a LOT differently than the last time and the results are much better. I think this is my best painterly piece of art to date! Please enjoy and thanks for the support!!

Spent the entire Art n Chill stream today doing lots of tiny detail. Did the plates he has (I kinda toned them down from his original design to save myself working on this an extra 20 hours lol), gave them texture and more volume, and textured his softer underbelly skin.
Next time I should be able to finish! I have to paint in his scars and necklace, then finish the background. I want to also do version where he's wearing his loincloth if I have time.

Zenberu is coming along nicely! I finished his grayscale painting, then colored over it. Now begins the finer details. Next time I'll be fixing some anatomy with paint-overs, adjusting some lighting/color, and finally start detailing his scales. For those wondering, his necklace, scars and tattoo I'll be doing very last since it's easier to do it that way with how I'm painting. Enjoy so far!

New page started today! I had to think about how to make this one a bit more dynamic and visually appealing since it's mostly dialogue still. But I think I got something I like with these gestures. I tried to push their expressions and body language a bit more here for it. Will finish the sketch out next Roommates stream day (check the schedule).

Got to finally finish him this month for my monthly Free Day. I pushed the inks even further than last time, and did all the shading and lighting and did some finishing touches, so he's all done now. I feel like I had to stop here because if I don't I swear I could probably keep polishing this unnecessarily. Gotta choose my battles, as they say.

Started this month's chosen main painted reward from the last poll, Zenberu from Overlord! I wanted to try the grayscale to color method again, this time doing an underpainting and then just painting on top of the lines. I got about halfway done on him before stopping for the day. Next time I'll finish his grayscale then start putting some color on him. The animation work continues! This month I spent some time touching up a few parts, adding follow-through, and adding a few minor details. Next time I'll be able to start lineart-ing each frame.
For those who are unaware, animation work is VERY slow and VERY arduous. So each update won't really look like much. XD So thanks for your patience!

Sadly, my day got eaten up by a bunch of busy-work that I HAD to do, and had no other time in the month to do it on, so... Only got to work on this to the point of flats thus far. I'll try to pick at him again if I get some time! Really wanna polish this one.
Things I wanna do still: Push the heavy inks even further, give some lighting and shadow to his form, add highlights, and finishing touches (stuff like bloom, effects, bounce/rim light, etc.). So still a bit to go before I consider...

Got a lot done today. All the lighting is laid out and more or less finished. And got some "wetness" rendered on Sheriff's tool there~ :3c
Next time I'll be able to finish! Have to make jizzy alts for both the oral part and Robin's arse, touchup some of the lighting on Sheriff and both their clothing, and then some finishing touches. So next sesh (next Tues) expect the finished version. :) Thanks everyone, enjoy for now.

Here's some progress on this month's main reward. I got some good progress and started to lay down the base shadows for the characters before I stopped. I actually spent a good time getting those bricks looking the way they do, haha. But at least they're done. Next time I'll finish the shadows and start finer details. Hope you enjoy the progress. :)
