I made reeeeally good progress on this today. Sadly, not enough to be done just yet. I have to touch up Merc's body some more, add sliiightly more contrast, touch up the grass, refine the vines some more, and then do scattered finishing touches here and there. So as predicted, this will be late... apologies. There's a lot going on here though. Thanks for your patience! The new polls will go up in the next couple of days so keep an eye out. :)

I spent a lot of time refining his face and body a bit, and started more on the background. Painting in this sort of palette takes a while... But so far it's coming along in the mood I was wanting. Mostly its just the background left and it should be pretty simple to finish up next week. The first chapter needs a round or two of editing before it's posted so the two should line up around the same time. Thanks for waiting!

The flat colors on this guy alone took a good 4 hours. There's just a lot goin' on. Thanks to you guys who hung out with me in the Art n Chill stream today.
Mercenary is gonna be -complex-. I kinda went overboard with the detail in this one, so since there's a lot of elements to work with here, this one might be late and complete partway into July. Apologies, but be patient as the end result should be worth it! :) Thanks.

All done! I kinda did something like what I used to do, combined with color choices based on what I learned from painting the past couple months. I think the end results colors are overall better than what I used to do. Hope you all like Sergio. :)

It's finally time. Herr Wozzeck has volunteered to be our writer for this series featuring the origins of Mondo and Olly. It is a story focused around loss and coping, in addition to how it effects someone so young growing up having to deal with that, and how it shapes them going into adulthood. Among other things! It's gonna be a little heavy.
This is a WIP for the cover art and first chapter art featuring a young Armando. I'll continue working on it next Roommates stream!

Hey all! Here's an update on Sergio from today's Art n Chill stream. I'm trying what I used to do with line but also applying what I've learned since my painting attempts. This is a WIP, so from here I'm gonna go in and add more contrast and tighten up the forms' shadows and lighting. Enjoy the WIP :)

I'm sorry this took so long. I've been dealing with a lot in my personal life. Trying to buy a house, parent quarrels, overworking/overbooked schedule, and trying to find time for myself in between (there wasn't much, haha). So I've been trying to balance a lot. I spent my night last night watching some Grimoire of Zero in order to get some context of who this guy is and what his world is all about. I watched six episodes, and I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be pretty good!

Did the base colors today. Complimentary color scheme base here, then gonna paint from dark to light, then up the contrast by pushing the darks. That's the plan! This Friday I'll be working on T-Bone mostly, and Maxi will be worked on after.
