It's that time of the year. A kind of merry Christmas themed stuff, a bit in advance, even if wasn't the point at first.

Enough for this anatomical fantasy, have to go back to more serious stuff ^^'.
As I planned nothing and neither make enough construction in the first steps this was just a nightmare to set and it's still very far from perfect. But was an interesting practice piece to try to go further in some anatomical details, volumes and shapes. Have a nice weekend!
Just some digital round brush practice painting. Wanted to shape and to shade in a more accentuate way to get into more exaggerate stuff, and get out a bit of my confort zone and usual stuff. Was interesting in some points.

Have to jump on a big commission (the second very rough sketch), but struggled a bit with the compo and worked on something else ^^'. Here the lineart, more soon about that.
For the commission, even if the sketch is very rough I finally managed to find a good way to have a kind of verticality while having a very wide size. Should be ok now, I'm almost ready to start!
Alright, made a silly stuff between 2 commissions (have to go back to work seriously to be able to work back on my comic ^^'...).

The 2 past years was quite rough with relocation multiple times, with all the expenses involved because of this + all the shit which happened, and still happening, with inflation, AI, etc. to just only mention this. But it's now online! with 2 other "steps" and a bunch of versions. I quite liked working on it even if it had pull on the rope of my patience a little. It allowed me to refine a bit this shitty workflow I use mostly with digital, to have both lineart and kind of "realistic" shadows (well, "kind of" I said). Hope you will enjoy!
Wanted to post it finished, but I will be not able to work again on it the next couple of days, so here still in wip just before the rendering. I put all the step of my process to show how I do from rough sketches to colours.
