He just wants to completely incapacitate the soldier, taking his time expertly restraining the soldier, so there's no chance of escaping, and limiting almost completely any movement. Captor A is the one who follows the training and field book on how to treat a prisoner. After you disarm the soldier, then you need to immediately restrain the soldier and segregate the soldier and take him to a holding place. So this captor will just tie the soldier's hands behind his back and process him.

Sometimes when you capture a Marine you don't have the mean or need to transport him with you. You just need to incapacitate him on the spot so he can't run away, and silence him so he can't alert his other unit members. Sometimes you just need to secure someone long enough for you to continue with the rest of your mission to defeat an entire military unit so that later you can come back and process them.

Primitive Military Hunting - 2

No matter how fast the Marine was trying to run, a traditional thrown weapon was able to tangle poor Marine. With his limbs tangled up, the Marine's body had no other option than to tumble at high speed to the ground. The impact made the bolas wrapped the Marine's body even tighter in awkward ways. The impact also made the Marine's gear come right off. He had no more protection. His mind was still racing on who these people were and what they wanted from him.

The two unsuspecting cops were ambushed and taken to the restroom of the closest gas station. Initially the bank robbers only made the cops handcuff themselves, until they later realized that they needed a bit more time to make their getaway, so they needed to silence and lock them in place. Switching it up a bit - A Marine is being hunted down by the local inhabitants. A tough, strong, well trained Marine is no match to the handy bola weapons thrown by skilled inhabitants. Wonder who they are and what do they want from the Marine.

Marine - Buck and Gag

You know - Buck and Gag I believe was an Army thing. But it can definitely work for Marines too. If anything it may work better. But if you don't have anything to buck and gag a Marine with, you can stick to your good ole hogtie. 

Like these two Marine boys who unsuspectingly wandered into someone's garage! BIG mistake - ended up all trussed up and helpless.

Office McKinnon was quite proud with his second arrest of the day.  A big burly man has been terrorizing the neighborhood, bullying everyone, making fights, just all around a troublemaker. He was all belligerent when he arrested the man, and being bigger than the officer wasn't helpful either. The Mystery guy that had ordered the kidnapping was pretty clear when he gave the assignment to two guys he hired. 

He wanted proof of everything, all of the intel that they could find on him, photos of their surveillance, and proof of step by step of the kidnapping. He didn't want the guys to play tricks on him, he wanted proof that Adam Parker was really the Marine that they kidnap, and that they're not working together with the amount of money that he paid for this job.
