Hi all,

Sorry for the delay in making this post. My original plan for this release was to start with adding the Sophisticated NPC to the bar scene, but I was struggling to come up with good content for it so instead I've switched over to working on a strip-blackjack scene for the house party. Overall, my writing hasn't been especially inspired over the last week or two, so progress isn't going as quick as I'd like.

Hi all,

Just a short update for now as I'm quite tired today - sleeping badly again, I think. The next version will be a smaller one than the last two, with the new patreon milestone but also some new event chains that let the player make some female friends without relying on the nightclub.

I'm aiming to have 2 of these, but I'm still just partway through the first so I might switch things around depending on how that proceeds.

Custom starting clothing

Hello everyone!

The 4.5k milestone was reached recently and I'll therefore be implementing custom starting clothing as a new cheat option for the next release.

This post is so people can discuss what sort of thing they'd like to see. I'll be adding a set of basic choices using the clothing-style categories that NPCs choose from, but it might be fun to have some special and unique wardrobes too that are custom-built around a particular theme.

Newlife 0.3.25

Hi all, 0.3.25 is completed. I've attached the file to this post for you to download. This update contains a new large sex scene which can be accessed through various friendship-related scenes.

For those of you who don't scrutinise the minor updates section of the changelog, there's aslo a new cheat in this version which increases the number of clothes in the shop.

I've had a message suggesting I modify the inner circle reward - I won't reply just yet because leaving it unanswered makes it less likely I'll forget about it. At the very least I need to give Inner Circle a *proper* description on the front page.

There were some more bugs found in 0.3.24b - nothing quite as awful as in the original 0.3.24 release but still enough to justify another patch release. The updated zip file is attached to this post - enjoy!

The cowgirl position is the winner, but I think we all know that the real winner would have been "hanging upside-down like a bat" if I hadn't unfairly excluded it from the voting choices.

Updated Newlife 0.3.24

Hi all, here's an updated version of 0.3.24 with some bugfixes, in particular to the build issue that was making the new scene crash.

I've also included the custom NPC guides in a folder within the zip.

Development update

Hi all,

Not the best week - I've often had issues with insomnia in the past but this is usually due to stress. The last few days it's been especially bad for a different reason - because of large amounts of noise throughout the night.

Monday was especially bad with almost no sleep at all on Sunday night - as you can imagine I got little productive done that day. Aside from that, work is proceeding, but acceptable quality writing & coding are both very difficult when I'm seriousl...

I was working on some new additions to how Relationships work for friends, but that was getting a bit frustrating, so I've switched over to doing custom female NPCs instead. The main path is that she's being pushed into performing in a bondage stage-show. Something which, as a sweet & innocent type of girl, she's totally uncomfortable with. Instead, you take her place and pretend to be her.

Here's another updated version of 0.3.19. This one fixes the bug with an error showing up in some circumstances after oral sex in the new scene. It also fixes the issue with the female-start casual outfit that Alliterative Acolyte reported in his or her comment on the 0.3.19b post.
