Various Lauras

At one point i wanted to do a "Damsel" calendar. Either with the 7 poses from a single damsel (like Laura, here) for the days of the week... or 12 with a number of different damsels in thematic pics for the months of the year.

The latter sounds more fun, but far more work.

At any rate, all i ever get around to doing is a bunch of sketches i never end up finishing... here's two of them.

Some colourful sketches

The middle one has already been posted, but i thought i'd include it just for some... colour.

The other two are Sixteen and Marisu and Feather (the latter might be coming up soon).

Sprite art of some 'random characters'

Select sprites at 100% and 300% size. Made to look similar to sprites from FFVI. I'll leave it up to you to guess who they are.

Unbelievable how difficult it is to make sprites. The size and simplicity doesn't give you a lot of room to work. I mean, even at 300%, you can barely see the details!

I know this isn't the kind of DID work you like to see. But i thought i'd share it anyway.

Timely sketches

Some of these sketches are months old; i just haven't gotten around to linearting and colouring them for posting. There's a chance i never will (i may post some "abandoned" art in a future post).

For now, these are all in the "eh... i guess they're ok" category. None of them really stand out as something i truly find interesting or postable.

I've been trying to doodle more pics (at least every other day). Most are not very interesting. But who knows. Maybe they'll end up being posted anyway?

Still, it got me wondering... what do people like in DID scenes? Stringent/interesting ties? Or simplistic but effective ties?

So, looking at these Elena pics, which do you think would make the better monthly pic? The more stringent hogtie one? Or the simple-but-effective tied to a pole one?

Also, do you mind seeing the rough work ...

Laura is served

I actually quite like the way this one came out... But i'm a long ways from posting it (won't be until i start working on Laura's mini-comics that i do). So i thought i'd share it here with you guys, first.

I always like the pics that have 'interesting' perspectives (ie, hard to draw perspectives).

Despite how difficult a perspective this was, the line art is surprisingly clean (as far as my work goes).

Collaboration

Hey Patrons!

Normally, my higher up patrons get rough works or sketchwork of up coming pics. But today i thought i'd show off a finished pic for a change.

The original idea for this pic was actually an Art Collaboration by a friend of mine: the females of Smash 4, bound and carried away by Olimar's pikmin. But it seems the idea has more or less fallen through, so instead of leaving the pic in my "never to be uploaded" folder, i thought i'd at least share it with you guys.

Hey Patrons!

I'd like to post Monthly Pics the first of the month. But since i feel i owe you a november pic, i am posting one mid month. Feather.

 I haven't decided on the format or 'theme' i'll be using for monthly pics. I was thinking:

• monthly theme (ie, December = christmas themed) but with OCs
• A choice of pics (2 pics and you guys pick which one i should put up on dA, leaving the other here as an exclusive)

My (Lazy) Character Designs

So this is my first post to upper tier patrons (even though there's not many of you yet ;))

This tier is to show people some upcoming work (likely sketch work in upcoming comics and / or scripts).

But i figure just putting up a sketch (like the one on the left) on its own would be a little uninteresting without the context... but too spoilery with the context (it's an upcoming panel from the next chapter of V the Vampire Vigilante).
