OK, so here it is, finally. I had it edited already to be honest. Was horrified that I had not yet uploaded it with all that's been going on lately. There might be a situation update post tomorrow. My life will get very hectic in the coming months, but I'll let you know when it happens.

OK, so I have talked to a doctor today. It's the upside of being at a nursing school. You basically have medical professionals around you all the time.
He gave me a quick examination and told me that it looks like due to me throwing up last week, my vocal cords are inflamed. He said I should rest my voice for at least a week more and gurgle with salt water.
He said that I SHOULD be OK coming GalaCon, but if not I should go see a specialist by Tuesday next week. And even then...

OK, so in one of my last posts, I told you my dad was in the hospital. He released himself on his own risk today. The diagnosis is that it was not only his heart, but that he has also had a mini stroke which, luckily, did no permanent damage.
He has now been given a stroke ID thingie that identifies him as a stroke patient, but he still refuses for me to go and install an emergency button so he can call for help if he needs it. He's as stubborn as a mule sometimes.
