The second, and possibly last ever, Star Trek Kelvin Timeline novel has arrived with Star Trek: More Beautiful Than Death by David Mack. Yet, did this novel capture the spirit of the more bombastic versions of the Star Trek universe and the voices of Chris Pine's Kirk, Zachary Quinto's Spock and Zoe Saldana's Uhura, or is just a forgettable tale in the Star Trek universe? Find out in my review of Star Trek: More Beautiful Than Death.

Hey everyone. A few weeks ago in my monthly update video, I mentioned I want to start doing more patron exclusive content, to thank you for all your support, and also help foster our lovely little community. So, I think I've settled on something I would want to do, that would be enjoyable to do, but not break my back in terms of adding too much onto my already loaded plate. So first, this month, I'm going share a deleted sequence from my upcoming Star Trek Into Darkness retrospective that onl...

Join myself, Steve Shives, and Lorerunner right now for the live premiere! Star Trek seems to have gotten so cynical and it’s all about Star Trek’s evolving disillusionment with America idealism. So why as Trek gotten so dark over the years, and will the Captain be able to hide his scars? Featuring guest appearances by YouTubers Steve Shives and Lorerunner.

Star Trek Lower Decks third episode "Temporal Edict" gave us our look at buffer time, and finally confirmed who the most important person is in all of Starfleet, not that any of us needed to be told. But did Star Trek Lower Decks third episode crash like the Galileo 7, or did it fly away like the Great Bird of the Galaxy. Find out in my review of Star Trek Lower Decks episode 3, "Temporal Edict".

So last video, I discussed everything that I think makes Star Trek 2009 a good movie, even a great movie. But there was still one question that I had to answer… Is Star Trek 2009 a good Star Trek movie? And that's an answer that everyone seems to have a different answer to depending on who you ask. For some this is to reliant on canon or not reliant enough on canon. Or it just doesn’t feel like old Trek, feeling too fast or too slow.

Star Trek is finally back with Star Trek: Lower Decks, the first animated Star Trek series since the 70s and the first ever comedic focused show. With a focus on Star Trek: The Next Generation-era tropes and feel, is Star Trek: Lower Decks series premiere "Second Contact" a success for the franchise, or is it a complete flop that destroyed a time-honored scifi tradition (spoilers, it's not the second one).
