I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I have never actually experience this ride (or any of the events a Disney Park offers ^^"), at least not yet. :p

It is just a really cute idea.
When I first got it I wonder if it could actually go the other way around, with Nick scared and Judy comforting him. X3
Then again, this could actually be the moment before the ride starts and at the end Judy could have had a lovely time and Nick is just a bit scared and trying to hide it from his joyous bunny...

The original idea only had both of them on the ride and it evolved into Judy being scared and holding Nick's arm while he looked at her with amusement.
Which is a cute idea! X3
Then again, as I mentioned on Discord, I wonder about what Judy might be afraid of. Being a police officer we have scene her facing a lot of scary and stressful situations. Which is why she being scared about this ride is adorable. xD

I tried recreating the lighting from the original piece. It had three different light sources and different colors for each one. So it was quite challenging, but educational at the same time. :3

You may have noticed (or not xD) that across the las couple of commission featuring BB I have settled on a new official fur pattern. :3
As suggested by most of you it was a combination of having a bit more orange on the back and the darker shade or brown on her chest and belly.
It is pretty much closer to the real fur pattern red pandas have. :p

But I will change that with the shadows. :p
Also, usually, it gets barely noticeable, but Rose has freckles as shown here.
They usually disappear with the shading... ^^"

And the full behind it is that you might remember long ago I made a piece called "Let the chase begin" where I portrayed BB as Catwoman for the first time.
Then I wonder who could be the equivalent version of Batman in this world so I approached a dear friend with the idea and then they created a piece called "I thought you were done with crime" where BatYote made his debut.

You know, since I look for a couple of reference and inspiration pieces, I noticed that the traditional American superhero comics have amazing content!
The backgrounds, shading and characters are stunning!
I never really payed that much attention to it, but now as an artist I appreciate so much more within their pages!
It also made me wonder if I could try working on a couple of shadows starting on the line art process.
