Final Pre Season Test - Ultima GTR GT2

Big changes following initial testing!

The car should now feel a bit more lively at slower speeds and more planted in the faster longer corners.

New power train now producing 580+ BHP.

New throttle profile to compensate for the increased power.

Ballast added to comply with FIA Regulations.

New Aero profile and luts.

New Tyres and Tyre physics should help keep optimal temperature better.

New rear view cockpit LCD.

Fire extinguisher added.

Porsche Carrera GT-R

The only version available in Assetto Corsa.

Has been designed to run with the other GT1 cars of the era from the likes of RSS and Legion.

A lovely nimble drive, good power throughout the rev range and excellent top end speed, in the hands of a capable driver this will keep pace with the faster cars of the day.

Be warned though, this is still a Porsche....push ...

Test Driver Program - Ultima GTR GT2

Dear Sirs,

You are cordially invited to take part in the latest test program.

The Car is currently running in pre-season spec with no weight ballasts but a race weekend engine.

The interior remains the same as the factory-spec at present.

The car should feel light and direct with the power coming towards the top end of the rev range.

The breaks may need tweaking as we currently have little data.

The Aero package should be sufficient as is.

Upcoming Content - Road Map

As we start the year I wanted to let everyone know what's coming down the pipeline.

So firstly the Carrera GT-R is ready to go and will be released shortly. Designed to run with the other GT1 cars of the era from RSS and Legion. 

Following this the Mercedes SLR 722 GT will be coming to also compete in this class.

Taking it back to yester-year the Lotus 23b will be unleashed. A personal fave of mine.

Introducing the 1991 Jaguar XJR15 Race Car that featured in the single series, Jaguar Sport Intercontinental Challenge; a three-race competition held throughout the year as a support event for the 1991 Formula One Grand Prix at Monaco, Silverstone, and Spa-Francorchamps.

Ferrari 458 GT3

Surprisingly there wasn't a standard 458 GT3 in the game.

There was however a street version ripped from GT Sport.

I took this base model and fully updated the cockpit with a racing version.

I also re-built the steering wheel so its the correct version similar to the 599xx.

The rims were then replaced with the correct versions found in the race car.

The physics were then balanced with real world figures and tested on my usual haunts of Le Mans and Imola.
