I know that new content is what everyone is looking forward to the most, and that will come with v0.18 in March! Until then, I am sure the gallery feature will reveal content that many of you have likely missed! Hopefully that'll keep you busy until the release of v0.18.
It took an unholy amount of hours to ensure that most of the replay gallery scenes would be retroactively unlocked the moment you install the new update, but this was unfortunately not possible for 100% of the existing content. If you are a completionist, you might have to play through some sections once to unlock the corresponding gallery entries. I appreciate everyone's patience in allowing me to deliver some much needed features!
I've always vowed to stay transparent and keep a clear line of communication between myself and all of you, the amazing fans of HoS - Even when sometimes, it may lead to short-term disappointment.

Since the first release of HoS a little more than 5 months ago, I've shipped 4 updates, more than doubling the size of the initial release, and adding multiple hours of new content by relentlessly putting in 70+ hour workweeks - working my dayjob during days, and HoS during nights. The reality is that HoS can only continue to exist, if I exist and right now with this pace, that simply isn't sustainable.
The silver lining is seeing all of you - The community that has blossomed around HoS assures me that it was all worth it, but it's now time to take a more reserved approach for the next few weeks.
Thanks to your incredible support, I am able to take a massive leap of faith in turning HoS into my full-time occupation, starting March 31st.
Until then, please expect a more measured approach during the next 2 months, in which you can still look forward to the announced technical update, along with v0.18. After March, I aim to deliver substantial updates every ~6 weeks, while exploring the possibility of bringing in new people to assist with the production of HoS.

Future update announcements
Instead of trying to guess a date for future updates far in advance (And often missing the mark 😅), I will instead opt in announcing a general time frame and only confirm dates a couple days prior to the release. This is to avoid some of the unnecessary disappointment that may occur from the tiny delays we've had in the past. This will be in effect for v0.17 which is still releasing early in January!

With v0.14 introducing another familiar ginger-haired character in the minor role of the 'Madame', I was wondering if there's any particular characters that haven't made their appearance yet that you would like to see in the future.
Of course, this won't be happening before Sarada makes her debut in December's update(v0.17) as voted by you, followed by Sakura and Kushina! After that, the sky is the limit!
While I prefer maintaining a plotline within the boundaries of the source material, I am not against featuring characters from other worlds in minor roles! I like to write HoS's script in advance and have every character tie into the story in some way when possible!

I want to take the opportunity to outline a few things for the near future. v0.14 fell a little bit short of my own expectations when it comes to update pacing due to some technical overhead that caught up to me, as well as limited time outside of my own job. But, I don't want to make excuses, so here's what's happening to make it up for my supporters!
I am taking all my remaining annual time off work to focus on bringing you the following:
-v0.14 will include the previously advertised 100+ CG and around 30" of playtime.
-November 30th: I am now adding an additional (smaller update) v0.15, without delaying the rest of the schedule. This update will expand the house events that are already present, as well as add a few new ones.
-December 30th: v0.17 Continuation of story + Sarada's introduction as voted by supporters + House events
To summarize:
November 30th - v0.15: Smaller update - Adding house events / Shop items December 30th - v0.17: Sarada's introduction / House events / Story events
I can't wait until I can start working on HoS full time and deliver you the best possible experience! Until then, please excuse the slight technical mishaps and slower update pacing. I promise it will get better, I will get better!
I am seeing some concern regarding blue-balling and I was thinking how to best remedy your severe affliction before the story progresses enough to warrant some Kage-Bunshin No Jutsu triple Anal DP + Spitroast events.
My own preference would be a medium-paced corruption process that follow a (sort of) believable build-up, but I understand that some of you just HAVE to goon and you have to goon NOW.
Would you like to see choices that can lead to lewd events faster than what the current writing allows? Given that those choices would result in Game-Over screens and would be considered non-canon! Said scenes wouldn't be too elaborate, but would lean into extremities. (Think MC leaning into his beastly side in H route, or making a 'mistake' in 'L' route.)
I promise that the update will be released before the end of the month, I'll let you know of an exact date as soon as I know myself! (If your Jonin (or higher) sub runs out at any point in time between this post's creation and v0.14's release, DM me once the update is out, and I will grant access to anyone who's eligible. An equivalent amount of grace-period will also be granted for Chunin subs for the Chunin release)
The reason for the slight delay is a game-breaking bug I've discovered that could render certain save file configurations incompatible with future updates. I am working on finding out what the root cause of the problem is to ensure that the player won't have to deal with lost/reset progress in the future.
I know it sucks and I apologize for the delay. I'll do better in the future, thank you for your patience!

With the next update inching closer, I'd like to take the opportunity to discuss v0.14 and the imminent future of HoS. As of now, the new update is looking to add around 100+ CG along with new story events that amount to 10k+ words. I am estimating the upcoming update to be adding around 30 minutes of playtime.
The update's focus has shifted away from fleshing out house events, and instead opts in advancing some of the underlying story to allow for stronger emotional responses from both, the characters, as well as the players themselves. Raising the stakes early on should build the foundations of setting up believable lewd events and allow for more convincing scenarios beyond those of the MC looking to mess around. Following v0.14, current plans are as follows:
December - v0.16: Sarada's introduction / House events / Story events Q1 2025 - v0.2: Chapter 1 conclusion / Sakura's introduction / Path choice / Introduction to Level 2 progression of selected path
I'd like to remind everyone that working on HoS is currently not my primary occupation, meaning that these next few updates are unlikely to meet some of the expectations I've seen thrown around in terms of size/pacing given my limited time.
That being said, with the communities continued interest and support, early next year is when I plan to take the plunge to start working full-time on HoS in hopes of delivering better, faster and larger updates to you all!
