While Randidly narrowed his focus and immerse himself in the sensation, the sense of fulfillment from the expulsion of Nether once more threatened to engulf him. As much as he had been reinforced from his repeated successes over the Eidolon Crucible, it was still dangerous to expose himself to too much to its infl...

In such a short amount of time, there was only so much that Randidly could do to repair the damage to his image. Not that he had experienced any truly dangerous wounds in the short and violent fight, but he had gotten so caught up in the heat of battle that he had directly exposed himself to the dense cores of Net...

The trio popped into existence in the Great Rift with a muted smack. Salazar immediately began shivering and rubbing his scaly shoulders as the Nether began to bite and snap at their relatively vulnerable image-flesh. Zauna simply floated in the vast space filled with intermittent blue veins, seemingly at e...

Only two tonight. Also a reminder that, in light of my struggles and June, this week will be aiming for 10 chapters.

Also, stop filling out the DnD survey xD. I'll be slowly going through the applications this week. Should have the list by Sunday.

“Uh…” Randidly blinked several times as his mind struggled to cope with so much strange information. Vualla had attacked him so quickly he could barely cope, and then she had stopped herself. And obviously, he had seen other people in pain before. The Grim Chimera itself was an image that was built on a lifetime of pain. Yet those sparkling tears in Vualla’s eyes seemed to force his breath to catch in his throat. “Is… everything alright?”

“No.” Vualla shoo...

Chapter 1057

When Randidly awoke, it was to a black and silent night. The thin light from Ignition Essence illuminated the inner portion of the grey tent, but its actual usefulness for distinguishing details was low. All Randidly could make out were several figures at the far end of the tent, with one of them being familiar. Yggdrasil sat at the far side, talking to two individuals who were standing outside the tent in a voice pitched low so as not to wake Randidly.

Instantly, Randidly...

I'll need to add the ToC stuff tomorrow. Also, I'm going to start gathering details for DnD, so quick reminder to fill the survey out if you are interested. Even if you don't get chosen immediately, you'll be first in line for any future games.

Lord Miln smiled widely at Iellaya as she walked into his headquarters. From his relaxed stance, it was clear that he had been expecting her. As always, he stood behind his ornate desk, the ground around it co...

Hey, I think I want to take an extra day to polish the next three chapters. They will likely be longer for it, but this next set up is pretty important to the plot. So they will be out tomorrow night.

Just wanted to give an early heads up.

LoRG DnD Survey

Hey y'all.

For those of you who responded that you were interested, please fill in the survey bellow so I can start to nail down the details of the DnD sessions.

At the moment, I'm less worried about schedules and more looking to see where my focus should be for making the system.

Randidly mulled over Iellaya’s words as she continued to talk about the various types of Nether beasts that could be encountered in the Great Rift.

An Aether tether to the main body is accurate, but… what is she fishing for?

Yggdrasil’s extremely vivid leaves rustled as his branches continued to sway over the frowning form of Randidly. It was, at least, an extremely soothing sound. Eventually, Randidly was required to spend a larger and larger portion of his attention on maintaining the Aether around him. The vast expanse of darkness around Randidly continued to loom menacingly above him. The azure veins gleamed to light intermittently according to some series of rules that Randidly couldn’t seem to understand.

Perhaps worst of all, Randidly was becoming extremely bored.

The net of distant Nether monsters continued to slowly circle his locatio...

Okay, timezone are just messing with me. Also a reminder that I probably won't post next week until Wednesday, and it will also be an 8 chapter week.

When Randidly came back to himself, everything was fuzzy and blurred. It was like someone had left a sticky residue over all of his perceiving organs. Sensation was strange. But some deeper necessity from his core urged Randidly force himself into wakefulness. So he scowled and forced his gummy eyes open. View Post

Yggdrasil stayed outside with Ignition Essence as Randidly and Zagnal walked steadily toward the towering command tent. Once Randidly had the assistance of Nether Resistance, the battle became immensely easier. Although it could still blur the edges of the Grim Chimera image, much of its potency had been sucked from it. With the additional image strength from his victory in the Eidolon Crucible, his victory was no longer in doubt.

Randidly woke up with a wicked smile plastered across his face and a headache that drummed against his frontal cortex more violently than even the vilest hangover he had ever experienced as an undergraduate. With a groan, he rolled onto his back and attempted to sit up. The world began immediately to spin. His stomach gurgled unpleasantly.

Randidly obediently leaned back against the ground and stared at the ceiling of the tent. After the rotating world slowly settled back t...

Randidly who-might-just-be the Grim Chimera spent two days in quiet meditation as he got used to his current surroundings. This place was a warzone; one of the most dangerous mistakes he could make was to forget ...

Sorry guys, no chapters today.

But I think I need to change up my schedule a bit so I don't do this once a week. My goal for this week will to post four more chapters and finish out at eleven. But the following two weeks coincide with a family wedding, so I'll drop down to 8 chapters a week during that time.

Hopefully, going at 8 chapters for two week will get these pesky statuses out of my system. After that, I'll move back up to 10 and hopefully make that more sustainable.
