Randidly had thought long and hard about the issue of whether to just cut their losses in the Raid Dungeon and run. But there were a few issues that Randidly wanted to resolve before they departed.
First, and most importantly, the issue of their Champion. When the Creature had fled into the Raid Dungeon, it had taken the two Regalias of the Champion’s of their Zone. Apparently, whenever a person would hold both, they would transform into the Champion for the Zone, and gain…

Tsk tsk, it does seem like doing 14 is too much for me right now.
I believe this puts me at 11 for the week, so I'm going to lower the goal to 12 through March. I think this is much more attainable.
Randidly lightly tapped the edge of the hastily erected cot, where the Wild Rider was currently resting. The rest of the Raid Party was sweeping the area, cleaning up the monsters that were constantly spawning, due to the Creature’s strange… and a...

This chapter... is problematic for me, for a number of reasons. I'll see how I feel about it tomorrow, but this one might get changed.
Ptolemy felt his vision go black, and suddenly he was somewhere else, away from the battlefield-
The blood seemed to drip right off his hands and into the ground, the Death Cultist he was facing gone. Now, he was standing on a dirt road at the edge of a field of flowers.
“Do you like it here?’ A voice asked, and ...

Contrary to what Randidly had thought earlier, when he went to the staircase, he walked up them in silence, letting the quiet sound of his footsteps on the wood echo. The bodies remained where they were laying, hacked to pieces by Randidly’s monstrous spear. As he was ascending the fire below just around, gathering up a howling momentum that would soon consume the bodies to feed its bottomless need.
So filled with violence that he was completely still, Randidly walked up to the ...

The first Red Death Cultist to reach him was smashed sideways by the butt of Randidly’s spear, sending it careening into buddy, both of them stumbling at the sudden force. With a quick spin of the spear, Randidly positioned himself to stab twice, very quickly, right into the rib cages of two other Red Death Cultists, ending their life.
But as the second thrust was withdrawn, one of the swiftly dying monsters desperately reached out and latched onto the spear, using its body weig...

WOOO FRIDAY RELEASE FIRST EVER!!! And not just one chapter...
The second time the Red Death Cultists decided to challenge Randidly, they brought numbers. 12 of the fuckers swarmed out of holes that emerged from both above and below Randidly, sneaking through his blind spots created by the cloth walls to strike at him. But honestly, Randidly wasn’t sure why they even bothered.
“Circle of Flame.”
The fire, once again, smashed outwards, causing t...

Only one tonight. Caught up on Practical Guide to Evil. Ooof, I can't wait until the next book ^_^.
Randidly cracked his neck, and then looked behind him. The constant drizzel had kept up through the night, and the Raid Party looked especially bedraggled this morning. Well, specifically Chrysanthemum looked like a much less fluffy version of herself, with her fur soaked to her skin.
Which, in a way, made her more terrifying. Because without the fur there,...

Ace cursed, twisting out of the way of the bat monter’s swipe. For all that their bodies were effectively made from bits of plastic and titanium, they were also unnaturally quick. Not nearly as quick as Alana or Randidly themselves, bless their hearts. They had raised the standard for quickness in battle.
No, they were a good few hairs slower than that, but that didn’t mean it was easy to avoid their strikes. Especially when…
The second Death Cultist gargled in its str...

Thea showed her teeth, the fury of battle already riding through her veins, driving her forward towards the Death Cultist that the Ghosthound’s Incinerating Bolt knocked to the ground. She would be the one who had the honor of proving this pointlessly gloomy blind woman wrong.
The Death Cultists wings and arms were one and the same, which gave them a very strange body shape. They had tiny wastes, although their legs appeared very strong, and ended in sharp talons. But their arms...

Just one today. Last day of feeling sorry of myself for my sinus infection. Upping the production tomorrow.
Randidly frowned, looking at the levels provided to him by the rest of the group. In particular, he had to decide whether to take action in regards to two specific individuals: Clarissa Lvl 47, Lucifer Lvl 46.
In regards to this, there were two things he could do. Based up on Lucretia’s expertise, which Randidly was dubious of, but had no choice b...

Aratta’s story ended very soon after that. In a much more muted tone, she explained how the methods were spread out, and the Dintan were able to grow in strength, and beat back both the monsters and the great hunger.
Under Zith’s leadership, a great central village was made, and 6 satellite villages around it, like spokes of a wheel. Population controls were put in place, and immediately after birth, children would be taken away from parents and fosters in another village, so ...

Sorry guys, had a sinus infection this weekend so I've been largely out of commission. I owe 4 more~.
Plus, I am pushing for a new March new Me process, and aiming for 14 chapters a week for the next 4 weeks! I'll drink Vitamin C tonight xD.
"Legend has it that in the past, we were part of a wider world. But because of a great sin of our people, the Dintan, we were exiled from our home, and sent here, to this purgatory. Although the area we are a...

Now, with dozens of ancillary thoughts swimming around in his head, Randidly found it something of a relief to return to the relatively simple issue of what Path to choose. Not only did he have complete control over this portion, but he also would benefit, basically no matter what.
Although the effects would be different, all Paths led forward, giving him more power. It was… a heady feeling. Randidly once more skimmed over a list of his most likely choices.
The Pha...

I'm from a different world, Lucretia began, taking second to savor her words as she spoke them. At her initial apology, Randidly's rage spiked upwards, but as she spoke in such a measured tone, it enable him to suppress it and keep listening to her. You of all people don't need to be told this, but... it means things are different.
Specifically, in our world, the Level 50 is a very... important dividing line amongst warriors. I referenced it earlier, but it i...

Only one tonight... and this is sorta an annoying cliffhanger. But a release is better than just waiting...?
Kekeke.
In the aftermath of Randidly assisting Alana, he had to take a pause before he dealt with his own notifications; the images were flooding through his actions. Every movement reminded him of something else, from a life that wasn’t his. Every second he was struck by a sense that he didn’t know himself, and he had to close his eyes and b...

Binding her Class together, Randidly quickly discovered, was easier said than done. Even if he held the shape of the Class together, that strange thick energy around the Class still was smashing against it, seeking a way in. Randidly had moved before it had ground everything to pieces, but he couldn’t block every flaw.
As he struggled, the strange energy pushed through, eviscerating portions of the Class, destroying 50 Levels worth of work. And it made Randidly furious. Partiall...

Even through the mass of roots and Wall of Thorns that the Ghosthound erected, it was still possible to hear the constant roar of the monster horde that was hounding them relentless. Alana grimaced; honestly, she would much rather be out there than stuck in here, waiting for the time to pass-
And just as she was going to allow herself to slip down a spiraling negative hole of missed experience, a notification popped up in front of her.

Randidly waved his hand, burning all his Mana, and all of the Mana stored in his rings, sending a dozen Grasps of Lava shooting upwards, igniting his Wall of Roots. This wouldn’t buy them much time, but it would have to be enough.
Glancing upwards, Randidly grimaced. The sky was definitely darkening, now that they left the village. What pissed Randidly off most about the whole situation is that he didn’t get a chance to figure out what sort of ‘array’ Aratta was talking ab...

Drake relished the chance to fight with his Bone Armor active. The preparation time was debilitative, but while he was within the exoskeleton of bone, he felt invincible, smashing and cutting his way through the Raid Bosses with relative ease.
Relative, because he had seen how Alana and the Ghosthound moved through the monsters, and they truly did part their enemies with ease. It wasn’t even fair. It seemed as though they were playing another game entirely, their physicali...

Randidly’s eyes slowly opened. His gaze narrowed as he looked out the window and towards the sky of the Raid Dungeon. Something was brewing. Something… rather familiar, although if it was occuring now…
But after checking his status screen, Randidly was left rather nonplussed. His Path hadn’t advanced all that much, so why was this happening now…? In addition, those times that it had occurred in the past, there was some warning, or at least a sign. Randidly had crossed a ...

Ace considered Randidly. He felt stupid for not noticing the changes in him immediately, when he had accosted him in that bar in the Refuge. But perhaps he had locked so quickly onto the familiar things that he had overlooked the differences.
Although it was impossible, Randidly seemed subtlety larger, like an inch or two in height, and wildly more masculine and aggressive. It was in the way he carried himself, how open his chest was, how direct his eye contact was. He would m...

Ptolemy seemed to be in a daze as he was led back towards the baking area by Aratta, until the moment that a hand fell on his shoulder.
“Wait a moment.” The Ghosthound bodily spun Ptolemy around, his emerald eyes locking onto Ptolemy’s gaze, then holding it. Ptolemy felt something connected to his soul seem to tremble, and then still. Then, it was like a bucket of ice water was poured over him, and Ptolemy doubled over, gasping.
After several seconds of panting, Ptolem...

“Would you like some help washing?” The voice said, drifting through the steamy sauna. The priestess, Arrata, sauntered through the mist, hinting at her feminine curves, and the all the more delicious curve of a smile on her mouth...

Drake shook his head. This really wasn’t the sort of thing that HE needed to think about. Better just stick to the grunt work. The Dungeon would work out, or it wouldn’t. All he needed to do was stay alive, and be the best Captain of the Guard he could be for Sydney when he made it out.

Although the demon monster was the largest threat, it was also only part of the problem. Annie’s role was not one of glory, but one of intelligence. Which was somewhat disappointing, for now, but Annie assured herself that SOME sort of rogue opponent would rear its ugly head, and she would have a 1 v. 1 duel with it.
Probably, they would think she had lost, and the opponent would ambush Randidly, leaving him helpless. And then at the last moment, Annie would reveal herself, mono...

After determining what the main goal of the villagers was during the monster horde distraction, Annie returned to help the rest of the group. Thank god she did, because by the time she had arrived, Randidly had been forced to use spells to intervene multiple times, mostly relying on his new spell that created a hand of lava that reached up out of the ground and physically grabbed a monster, burning away its skin and keeping it still as the molten rock and metal cooled.
It honestly...

They did obtain SOME useful information while they waited.
First were the names: the man was Dalton, while the armored woman who gave Randidly the dangerous feelings was Cyndra. Behind them, the blind woman, because she did not cover her eyes for vanity, was named Aratta. The boy was Pendlive, and served as the assistant to Aratta, who seemed to be the highest ranking of the strange sort of Clergy in the area, who followed Zith. Randidly approached the village warily.
Not that he thought, from his passing investigations with Phantom's Lanterns, that there was anyone in the village strong enough to be a threat. But they did appear relatively prepared to fight, which was to be expected, considering the location.
Also considering the location, there had to be a group of people in the village that had enough strength to fight off the Raid Boss magnitude monsters on a daily basis. Sure, they weren't supe...
