I apologize for the lack of content in the recent weeks. I had been ill and was finally hospitalized. Most issues with my kidneys and dangerously low blood pressure were taken care of and stabilized but now I have to deal with possible neurosurgery on my spine. But I will do my best to get things back on track here the best I can.

We will return to the college campus and pick up Franny's situation and find out how Kimberly will respond to this development. But meanwhile, across the city...

'Kelly'? stretches and squeezes

I'm calling her Kelly for the moment but it hit me, at least in my eyes she does bare a striking resemblance to an early version of Kimmy from about 7 years ago when she was sporting that more spiky wild hair style. Posted a reference pic below as a refresher since it was only available on my former dA page. Patreon didn't kick off for well over a year after this time period. Tell me if you think she could become my Gen8 Kimmy or if you think she should remain Kelly.

Thanks to a patron here for giving me an idea for her name, Rochelle, french origin meaning 'little rock' seems to fit her nicely and she does have a bit of a wild side to her which gives a nickname like Roxy credence.

Once again, after acquiring some fresh materials to fiddle around with, I melded together this interesting creation, just trying to figure out her name. I was thinking maybe Isabella or Bella for short, not quite sure yet..any other names comes to mind?

Trying out a more complex scene to test the new machine's capability, still exceeding expectation, even using a heavily morphed and textured Gen8.1 character in a full environment, completed 5000 iteration(passes) in about 8.5 minutes, probably means little or sounds like another language to most of you, but take it from me, this is happy news.

Just another rendering experiment with the new rig. Couldn't sleep last night once I got things working properly. I wanted to try to render something with settings at higher quality and convergence rates to see if it could produce more detail in a reasonable time-frame. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised and encouraged to see this piece render in 2mins 30sec when it would have taken hours before without reaching this amount of detail. I guess you actually get what you pay for when it come...

Good news, the worst of the Covid has passed and I finally got my new computer up and running after much trial and error and days of transfers. Good news is that a picture like this had taken up to 2 hours to run to completion on the old system. This took just over a minute..definitely exceeding my best expectations.

Just an FYI

A couple things happening right now that could impact the next week or so of content. The good is that I finally pulled the trigger on a new computer system after using this sturdy old dog since Jan 2015. Even bought a more ergonomic desk that I have to put together as well. Had the old one since 2000, it's quite beaten up after so many moves in those 20 years.
