Harley prison cell wip

heya!

im having alot of fun learning how to animate so i already started on a new one!

visiting harley in her arkham asylum cell! inspired by a previous pic i made of her behind security glass with some handy placed holes...

this is just the basic body movement for her ofcourse so expression and a bunch of other stuff is yet to be started on!

Sorry for this being alittle delayed. the animation was finished a day or so ago but i had to figure out how to increase the fps of the playback as it was a bit staggerly with 24fps so i managed to up it to 30 now. i think its still too low fps so in the future ill try to keep that in mind!

update on this animation. basic movement and boobie jiggle is coming along nicely.

still have head, hands etc to animate but i think its coming together pretty ok!

First animation attempt

hi yall!
Here's my first proper attempt at animating in Blender. i learned a ton doing this short clip and i already have plans for more short animations in order to learn everything!

im keeping these animations rather short and simple right now but i want to start doing bigger and better animations as i get more comfortable animating!

also, its a .mov file right now. ill have to look into how to best handle post work on videos and what file system to use and all that. lots of ...

Animation wip

Heya!

FINALLY my new PC arrived and is all set up so I can start animating for real.
There is so much i need to learn about animating and i think the best way is just learn by doing. so i made this simple loop animation that i will add jiggle physics and collisions and all that fancy stuff to.

its a very simple animation to start with and i want to make more and more advanced stuff as i learn more and get better at it! gonna be fun!

heya! here is an update on the 1 page Mei "comic" or what you would call it. all the panels are put together in 3D now and i like how its looking so far. i tried to get a good variation of panel sizes. i only have the last panel left to sculpt and add some goo to and then its just rendering em all out and do the post work etc. shouldnt take too long!

i thought itd be fun to make a simple comic style page about mei getting into trouble at a private pool. i started on the first panel to set the look and made a sketch of the rest of the panels. i havent done this sort of layout before so i thought it would be a fun new thing to try out!

sombra honkers

just made this quick lil' pic last night after doing some animation testing with this model

i made this quick little animation with sombra to test out animating key shapes in blender. basically its a way to remodel the model and animate the progression from the original to the remodeled version. in this case i gave her some more defined abs and then animated it so she flexes her abs on the inward bend and relaxes again when stretching out.

its a neat system that will be very useful to animate stuff like muscles tensing up, or things getting hard :>

decided to recreate that scene where tifa shows cloud her scar, but from an alternative angle :)

this came together super quick and i already like the pose and her expression and everything so should be done pretty soon!

update: added the background to match the shot in the game to a decent enough level. everything is finished now and just gotta press render!

Locker room shenanigans

the girls noticed max packing a boner in the locker room, so naturally they had to investigate!

ofcourse max doesnt mind but they have to keep her from moaning loud enough for the others to hear!

harley pic behind the scenes

i dunno if this is interesting to any of you but i did a quick behind-the-scenes for this latest harley pic to show the very simple light setup i use for these kinds of pics. when i want that phone camera look.

the circle plane as a light is key to this, as it emulates the ring light that many use in real life photography and is a very effective way of getting the same look in 3D. and it creates very nice looking reflection highlights in eyes and skin!

guard duty in harleys cell block was always the most sought after with all the guards. i wonder why!

just some more animation tests i made to learn the basics. lots of testing out how to get jiggles and everything. i think i reached the edge of what my old PC can handle, will get my new one soon and then i can start animating for real. using higher res models and collisions etc to get better and more realistic jiggles etc.

Animation experiments part2

second day of getting familiar with animation!
i made another rio bouncy clip to try out simplicage and using cloth physics to simulate the bouncing instead of animating it myself, worked out pretty great! still some stuff to figure out but it seems to work pretty well!

i also tried to make a simple walk cycle to practice. was pretty hard to make it look okay, still looks pretty stiff but ok for a first effort i think. really fun to experiment and figure out all of this stuff!

WIP of a random life is strange pic i started the other day. i really like the vibe of these girls being slutty college party girls so i wanted to make something with that.
just have to finish some last details on this and finalize the lights and it should be finished tomorrow.

First animation experiment

First of all, i dont know if this is the way to post videos to patreon so bare with me.

I just started trying to learn how to animate in blender today and i made this simple short looped video as a first experiment. its really fun and i look forward to learning more and start doing more and more advanced animations in the future. ill try to split my time between learning to animate and doing images as usual!
