It's been a while since I did a pure art upload on my patreon, I missed painting this summer.
But no worries! The comic will be right back on schedule for a big update right before Halloween :)

So here we go! My first project actually made thanks to your support, and something definitely different from my usual production. I hope you will all enjoy it! The complete comic should be roughly 25 pages long.
An important note: my first language is Italian, and I learned English very late in my life: if you find any spelling or grammar error, or just places where it doesn't feel right... let me know! I will gladly fix the pages and credit you on the closing page for your kind help :...

This is a painting for a were-Lucario character, shown post-TF (a concept I mentally connect with mirrors and looking at yourself, I'm very pleased the client went with it!). This painting was a technical tour de force and a refinement on the grisaille tech I used in the previous one. The mirror reflection is hand-painted and I'm very pleased with the end result.
I couldn't resist to decorate the mirror with a goldbat and a ghastly as makeshift gothic decorations: a little nod ...

Hello! It's been a while since I did an upload, I'm making it up by posting two paintings at once and I hope you'll enjoy them both.
After I finished my previous painting I decided I needed to seriously reconsider my painting technique in order to improve lighting. I decided to experiment with grisaille underpainting and you can see the results here. Grisaille is a technique were a black and white blockout of the painting is done, and then colors are applied on top of it. I used to prac...

This nice character portrait was commissioned by Larx. The challenge was to render a mighty dragon-wolf hybrid character and also make him feel inviting and welcoming. I put quite some work on rendering the dragon parts, because I don't get many chances to work on dragons, so it was a learning experience.
I'm a bit late with the delivery of this painting, which should have been last week, but the extra effort I put in was worth the delay.

This commission features Ubzerd's own and Derry's character.
Inked and colored commissions used to have a very different workflow from my digital painting pieces, using a system more akin to the cuts used to color comics. As time went on I started using more and more brushwork on them to make them more coherent with my usual art production, and I started to use cuts as a way to quickly setup lighting in some paintings... I guess at some point I'll just merge this style with s...
