Inquisitor blade whip

This is the Inquisitor's blade whip. Originally it had a more blocky/katana like design. But we decided we wanted the elves to have a blend of eastern and roman influences.  Originally the links connecting the blades were more blocky as well. I wanted them to still seem strong and solid, taking inspiration from the likes of the blade chain. Fox however hated this idea and thus it was changed! This idea did not seem to go over well with most people though so it was changed.

In terms of the armour we've made our way all the way from the neck, down to the feet this week. Once I've finished with the shoulder plates I will begin working on the suit beneath the armour. You can see I played around a bit with stylized pattern along her suit. I even made a few pattern brushes to help work on some of the details.

But I fear these patterns might become too distracting from a distance. So what we'll be trying later is to add them in as carvings so there is a bit mor...

Legend of Opala: Gold edition

This was the first episode ever produced of the Fox hole, and I am quite happy with it! Fey put on an amazing performance as Fox. and I've always found something oddly calming about video editing. It was a fun idea to help us relax, while still allowing us to produce content for you. Since we plan on probably working with RPG Maker in the future, Legend of Opala seemed as good a choice as any to start off.

Celine 3d render

Celine was the first of our dungeneers I started working on to get her ready for animation.  She has been ready for some time, but stuff like UV's and normal maps has been a big step out of my comfort zone, without a clear path to follow. Every artist seems to have their own preference and way to go about things, so I had a hard time learning how to go about it. But I recently paid for a few courses in character creation for games, so I hope that will speed things along!

Simple, but effective.
Looking back at my time with Bloodstained, those words keep echoing back to me. This video was rather frustrating in that regard, as it was hard to put into words what I really enjoyed about the game.
