I was doing a bunch of tests on Illustrious models lately! The kind of flat, pastel-y one is a new favorite, I think :D it does absolutely anything you want from a belly-related perspective, and its backgrounds are simple but robust. there's also a delightful "art" quality to them that kind of hides any imperfections as being simply a stylistic choice which helps people with some of the otherwise glaring "AI-ness" of a piece

More Illustrious works! Specifically the IllustriousPencil model which does some excellent things with bellies as well as keeping the composition of the pics clean and uncluttered. I'm not 100% sure if I'll be sticking with this family moving forward, but I think my next test is going to be seeing what happens if I feed illustrious pics into img2img and touch them up with a more classic pony style! could be great, could be eh...we'll see!

12/4 -- Illustrious Testing

I've been using Pony-based stuff as my primary models for nearly a year now, and I figured I should start trying out some of the newer model families that have come out! I tried Flux a little bit ago and honestly was not super impressed with it. The realism stuff turned out fine, but it didn't natively have a lot of understanding of belly material. Illustrious, meanwhile, is actually capable of using the same loras as Pony models and has seriously ridiculous prompt adherence! It's got some ne...

Per request, this is an example image with the prompt! Please bear in mind that most of my prompt is entirely superfluous and not at all needed. There are people much smarter than me who actually do things like read the tagging documentation and stuff...I'm not one of them. A bunch of excerpts from some stuff I've done over the past few days! Most of it is to do with the videos I've been putting up on DA lately, but there are a few standard cartoony ones! For anyone who's interested in trying their hand at some of the realism stuff, I cannot recommend the Opticon model highly enough. I prefer using it with a very, very low CFG (<2) which gives the gens that kind of washed-out, grainy look :D

11/27 -- Elf Girl Sequence

I was messing around with elf ears and accidentally made something of a weight gain sequence for a spritely forest elf! Not sure if I'm ever going to solidify these into a real sequence, but that's okay because they're still great :D also wanted to see how the realistic compared to some of my more popular cartoon/anime models

Sometimes I get really gung-ho about a particular look or idea, and I spend a decent amount of time getting the raw txt2img pics all neat and lined up! But then a couple days go by, and I still haven't done the upscaling or editing or fixing that I would need to do to make them actually postable. A bunch of rejects from my Stuffing Sessions sequence I just posted on DA! i was considering taking it in a more weight gain-y direction, but i'm just a sucker for the big round bellies so...we got stuffing instead :D also, i really wanted to try to get a part 7 in there, but the models weren't playing nice so it was only 6 parts! one of the failed attempts at a 7th part is floating around in this gallery, so...you can see why i gave up

I've been working on a commissioned sequence involving some rapid weight gain at an airport! As always, I've got tons of rejected pics that just weren't quite as hot as the ones I ended up going with for the real thing, so I wanted to share a bit of the reject pile for the comm :D

Currently in the process of making a little sequence/story for Halloween! I should probably end up doing some monsters, but I've always been more taken with things like Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark! I've actually got the much creepier versions of these pics, but I figure you fine folks would rather see the nice, clean versions :D

10/18 - Model Comparisons

This was just a fun little study I did where I used the exact same prompt and seed each time, but I just changed the model that was being used. As you can see, there's a huge amount of variation just from the model alone! Some handle backgrounds better than others, some handle anatomy better. Some handle bellies better. Back in SD 1.5, merging models together was a much more viable option to try and get the best of both worlds, but with Pony there's too much lost in the merge for my taste. 2024-10-19 02:54:39 +0000 UTC View Post

These are some of the pics that didn't make the cut for the actual sequence on DA! One of the best parts of using Pony-based models for belly stuff is that...honestly...there's not a bad picture in the bunch. Like virtually everything I get these days, even without any editing, is legitimately pretty great :D

Some of the rejects from my recent sequence, Tiana's Swell Party! Nothing particularly wrong with them (other than the one where her knee is joined to her belly) but they just didn't tickle me the way the final versions did!

Things I've been working on recently! None of it really ever came to anything, but I liked playing around with some new-ish backgrounds. Also trying to branch out a bit more in terms of body shapes because I've never really gotten the hang of the blobby figure
