Tail:  Joking aside. I think this is where I started getting more comfortable with the characters. The last page was a good warm up, but this was a good next step because of the full-body shots and close ups. I was really pleased with it. Some really nice coloring on this page.

Tail: This is one of my favourite moments so far in the series. The expressions and use of multiple frames came across so nicely. It's so animal-like that he can pick up her scent.

Jess: Ah yes, this moment. I remember when I pitched it to you, and you were like "How would she not know when she's in heat!?" Alas... our cycles can sneak up on us ladies. I just love the use of color in the background to show the build of intensity in the moment.

I'm going to say this as a woman, this is one of the sexiest-with-clothes-on moments I've seen in awhile... that lean in, the whisper in his ear as it twitches... there is some amazing sensual tension here and it's all posture and angle.  Jess: Okay I’m going to sneak on and do commentary for this one because we did not, but it was one of my big pushes for Tail to get his scenic work into our comic because one it elevates the world and two he’s amazing at it. And then the great pain of taking that beautiful work and putting the necessary titles and bylines over it

Jess: YEEEE MY BABY! If I have one claim to an original character in this, it's the statuesque goddess of a vixen. Look at that height difference. And yes, I agree, that is such a good reveal. This one one of the things I had ingrained into my brain on how this would look. And this is it, I think you broke up her turn into more frames too didn't you?

Tailt: You're so in love with that fox....Yes. I wanted her to have that same feeling of motion. Sometimes it gets in the way...

Tail: I originally wanted it to be nightfall and the lighting be a lot more atmospheric, but Jessica wanted it to be earlier in the day... for other reasons…

Jess: We can cover one of the reasons later so there;s no spoilers, but the main one was it was spring, and I wanted the shot to really show off the drastic difference between the past flashback, both in season and tone. This page though... oh god one of my favorite character entrances ever.
