The idea for the background is a corner store that rents console games and sells snack foods and magazines. It's a common hangout spot for Ruthie and Sassy, because they skate around that area.

Sorry for coming out with this so late in the month! I have the rest of the set almost done, since I worked on them in batches. I just had a hard time settling on an idea this month, as I just kept sketching ideas that just didn't hit the mark for me.
