Ch. 224 -

"Alright. Just look into this." I said, adjusting the cognitive assessment sensors onto her eyes.

"Okay. Now don't blink. It's going to flash, but nothing you can't bear." I flipped the switch, and the device scanned her, injecting blank cognitohazard data into her, before checking the results.

Today was the day. After a nice little vacation, today was the day we were going to go into the Magicians world.

And this was a final set of tests I was prepping before we left....

Ch. 223 - Lovely Morning

I awoke the next morning, wrapped under quilts, a warm sensation permeating through me, something soft pressed against my sides and the smell of sex assaulting my nose.
Looking over, I found Wanda coiled around me like a snake, locking snuggling up against my chest and a soft beat of happiness sprung up within me.
This was nice.
Running my hand through her hair, I kissed her forehead and smiled.
Mine.
A voice muttered within me.
All mine.
I relished the moment a bit more,...

Ch. 220 - Unedited

Macht's sword sliced through the air at Wanda, threatening to split her in two, but to his surprise, she dissipated into dust, appearing up in the air above him.

"Images Of Ikonn!"

Wanda split into dozens upon dozens of clones, scattering in the winds, surrounding him a sphere.

"Crimson Bands Of Cyttorak!"

In a coordinated move, she swung out her hands, thick crimson bands of searing hot energy shot out of her hands, like the chains of heaven, attempting to restrain Ma...

Ch. 218 - Scarlet Witch Rising (unedited)

That night, as we settled in for bedtime, I felt a knock on my door.

Weird, but a quick look outside showed it wasn't Star as usual but rather Wanda.

Hn?

Right.

She's probably sad or something and wants to talk. I can understand that.

I yawned, opened the door and pulled out a chair for her.

Wanda stood in the doorway, striped pajamas and undone hair, cascading down her chest like a waterfall, pillow and blanket in hand and looked at the chair be...

Ch. 217 - Wanda broken.

We exited the portal onto the charred remains of the HYDRA base, Wanda and Banner healed up with CodeRed.
They had delivered their account of the incident to me and I had checked for Pietro's comms as well and logs.
The comms and trackers on him had been destroyed as well. Worrying, but not unsalvageable.
"Is he safe? Can you save him?" Wanda asked, impatiently, worry writ on her face.
"His forcefield is still active." Is all I could say.
Still, he should be fine. If nothing el...

Chapter 215 - Omake : Pietro's Last Run

Pietro ran for his life as the explosion nipped at his heels and all he could think was,

"How did this all go so wrong?"

It was supposed to be simple. He knew that much. A simple rescue mission. Go in, beat up some HYDRA goons, save Captain America's friend and portal out.

It started out smooth. The Hulk broke through a back wall, pummeled the guards while Pietro took out the turrets and surveillance, Fury taking over the control room.

But then, they were attacked as t...

Ch. 189 - Renegotiations.

I exited the portal onto the courtyard of the sanctum, dressed in my usual garb, having changed out of the bloodied armor and showered.

As usual the students were training here, though it was more mediation and less CQC with magic.

Rows and rows of students sat under the cherry trees while the Ancient One  walked among them in her astral form, helping guide them through.

As I walked over, she spotted me with a surprised look.

Hmm?

Shouldn't she have kn...

Ch. 188 - Devastation of Xandar

We landed on Xandar, in the plaza outside the Council Building, just as a massive beam of purple energy burst up into the, blanketing the planet and tearing through the surface.

It jetted across the plaza, ripping up tiles like a hurricane of power, and slammed into me, sending me to the floor, skidding back across the plaza steps.

Beside me I heard a wet squelch, as a blood splattered across my flickering forcefield.

Gamora was dead, her neck snapped right off.

Damn.....

Ch. 187 - Gamora

Nonononono.
I paced around the room.
I was sure my forcefield doesn't allow you to just teleport out of them.
Even if the Bifrost is technology and not magic, it shouldn't work.
The only teleportation tech that my forcefield's allow is ....portal tech.
No.
That is such bullshit.
The Bifrost works on the same principle as my portal tech?
Hell no. I do not believe that for one fucking second.
I unleashed my technokinesis and connected to the Bifrost, going over i...

Demolition Man

For a moment we were all at a standstill, gauging each others powers.
Well they were, at least.
I was just spreading my nano swarm around the room and targetting them all with the Godslayer Mk III. I intend to make this a quick clean fight.
More boss battle and less melee.
Unfortunately for them, I am a dark souls boss.
And not in the sense that they can defeat me with a hundred well choreographed pokes to the butt.
In a word. They are fucked.
"Alright ladies.....Are we ...

Ch. 185 - Odin's Gambit

I exited the portal in front of the Asgardian Royal palace and found the entire army surrounding the palace. Even what looked like some major firepower in the form of alien mercenaries.
Aw! He brought the whole gang together.
And in the sky, high above, I could spot three distinct sets of ships. I could see from here. There was one Asgardian navy, another fleet from...Xandar? I haven't done anything to them. They should have no reason to come after  me.
Were they here because of...

Wayward Son Chapter 1

Bang!

The gun smoked in my hands and the man in the black coat stumbled back, his eyes wide in shock.

He grabbed at the doorframe to recover his balance, as he glared me down.

"Kono yaro!"

He gasped for breath and raised his gun at me with a shaking hand.

I felt a spike of fear, and froze in place, blacked out.

Bang!

Another shot rang out, and the man in the black coat fell back through the doorframe, crashing into the railing outside.

Blo...

Chapter 2.

I landed face first into cold hard sand. Literally.
"Pthew!" I spat it out, and back on my feet, swatting the sand off of my robe before taking in my surroundings.
All around me stretched a cold desert, grey sands, as far as the eye could see. Though, in the distance I could spot the vague outline of a mountain range jutting out of the horizon like a clawed hand. They broke into smaller foothills shortly after, with small patches of coniferous vegetation, shrouded in a thick, deep fog.<...

Chapter 1.

____________________

I looked at the roadmap to my plan projected over my desk, and smiled in satisfaction.
With a thought the datapad shut off the projection and switched off.
I tucked it neatly into the backpack and took in a deep breath of the summer night breeze, looking out the window at the blue moon shimmering in the Nabooan sky.
"Today is the day." I repeated to myself, as goosebumps ran dow...
