He’s so pretty in Stampede, they didn’t have to go that hard with his redesign. They did that for US. 😳 He and Legato were my favs when I watched the 1998 anime when I was a kid and Stampede just amplified that, I’m so very weak for a good antagonist 😍😍

Vash the Stampede April icon for Felix

It was so weird. A few months ago I was playing mudae on discord when Legato popped up and unlocked all my Trigun memories, so of course I looked it up and saw they were doing the Trigun Stampede remake, so I went back through and rewatched the old series and then buckled in for the ride that is Trigun Stampede. I’m so hyped for a season 2! I was such a fan of the OG as a kid, something about it just retired my brain.

Owl OC redesign for Rowan

I was tasked with redesigning a character into a fancy snowy owl prince! I had such a blast with his design and color palette 🥰 owls are so nifty too, have you guys ever seen an owl in the wild? They’re so big and kinda spooky especially when they get all puffed up! I wonder if he’s anything like that😆

It’s so weird how sometimes my flat color sketches look nicer than my full color stuff, maybe it’s just because there’s not so much pressure to make it look perfect and clean? It’s so nice to just let loose sometimes especially when the idea is so clear in your head of how you want it to look, it’s like your hand just takes the wheel and goes!

This one was such a neat commission, they said the character is an opal dragon cursed to be human for their DND campaign, she hoards stories which I thought was a really nifty method of payment to a dragon. It’s always so fun bringing their characters to life ✨

This one was a collaboration with A1rjayce as a gift for our close friends Birthday 🥰🥰 the octa trio is just so sweet, I have so many headcanons about these cuties some of them being that Azul has the octopus eyes and little sharp teef!

I can’t really say I’m completely confident in my ability to draw animalesque features but I really do enjoy playing around with it! Its so fun hearing all the stories people come up with for their D&D characters too. I can’t wait to hear about the adventures of this cute Tabaxi and her shadow.

Octo Azul ♡

I love this pretty little octopus 💕💕

I started out trying a new method of sketching (which is actually probably closer to how some artists start their digital paintings) and ive really been enjoying it! Its so loose and the implied bits give it another level of detail somehow. Plus it just being a sketch lets me be a bit looser with it. Its not perfect but I did it fast, it looks nice, and I had a lot of fun with it and thats what matters!

Look at this cutie!!! I had a bit of fun experimenting with cel shading with this one 💕💕 initially the icons were all meant to be like this but Im a bit faster at full shading these days haha. I have to really think about where the shadows and highlights go and what types of gradients I should add where. Its such a nice change of pace compared to the messy shading methods i usually use. 🥰

Cult of the lamb icon for Felix

Have any of you played Cult of the Lamb? I started it and got to the second boss before I got too involved with my cult members and just ended up sitting at home with them. I named all my little cult members after Genshin and Twst boys, and played the lamb as Riddle and just keep resurrecting Floyd over and over and over hahaha. It’s a really great game! Maybe one day I’ll actually go in and beat it 😅
