Summer’s coming to a close, so let’s end with one last look out to the horizon...
I used a LOT of new techniques and experimented on this. It took me about 8 hours to draw this. Lots of rendering, bolder than usual use of color, glow and subsurface scattering effects, too. This was a very complex drawing I’m quite proud of!

This was an on-the-spot commission from an artist alley, and the only time I didnt receive payment for my work. I’m not sure if it was my fault or the commissioners voluntary action but they never came back, so this went unpaid. :(
