October Newsletter from Kristian!

Hello patrons, Hello members! This is the first newsletter, I think the members are getting so pretty excited for that. Also, so excited for what’s been going on with the channel in general. We have reactions that we’ve been doing to movies. And man,I talked about it on the live show but holy moly people do not like if you crack chokes while watching a serious movie. I understand that if you’re gonna do that in the movie theater, that would drive people nuts, but I’m assuming most people have seen the movie at this point if they’re tuning into a reaction. But hey, noted.I am going to continue to do what I can and have some fun with the people I’ve been doing stuff with. I hope you guys are enjoying them.

We will release raw reactions also. We are having a fun time doing it. It’s been great catching up with friends and also getting your feedback and introducing you guys to new people.

I wanted to talk to you guys also about The Bar. Great time to connect with fellow patrons, fellow members, and it allows me to meet some of you face-to-face. I hope that some of you take advantage of it and we get a chance to talk and catch up. I am literally on a train right now as I write this to you guys and I have been doing a lot of interviews. I am going to be talking to Rhenzy Feliz today. I’m excited to talk to him about the penguin and other things and yes, I will absolutely ask him about Miles Morales. I am putting a lot of effort into the clips channel these days. I hope you guys are checking out the interviews. I just put up Matthew LILLARD today. It was a really fun conversation. He’s a great guy.

So I always ask on these newsletters for you guys to give us our feedback on what you are enjoying, especially for new members. What do you want to see more of, less of....etc. Te streams have been going great, having a great time catching up with everyone and meeting new people over there. So just a quick update on everything going on and I love to hear back from all of you.

SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER FROM KRISTIAN!

What a month it has been! We have so much going on this month and I am so appreciative to all of you for helping me make it happen!

We did a full transition of The Kristian Harloff Show and turned it into a live show five days a week. It has been a very successful run. We have had people every day asking new questions being part of it and it has been great to make that happen with the different cohosts.

We’ve also been able to introduce new people on the channel. Not only has my wife made her much anticipated debut my friends, Sam and Tina and of course Matt Serra all made their debut on the movie reaction series. We really enjoyed the direction of where the channel is going. And we really like the direction of where Patreon is going.

We introduced The Bar this month. I’m so excited and bummed at the same time. I’m excited because it has been a hit. Many of you who I have had one on ones with have joined the bar and have gotten to no one another and we’ve had great sessions just talking for an hour. I’m bummed because a lot of you who are at this year are not taking advantage of it! I really hope that you will join us this upcoming month in October to be part of it. There’s going to be an extra one because I was at the bank today and had to reschedule. But we have so much fun. Right now there’s been a regular cast of characters, but I hope to see more of you arrive. For anybody new, welcome!

We are trying to do new things over here and we are always looking for suggestions so thanks for being part of the ride and can’t wait to see what we have in store for October! As always, please leave your comments and please join the Q&A that we do because, that will give us an opportunity to connect even more. And even if you can’t make it with us live, put your questions in and let’s have a ton of questions from the Patreon!!

You may have figured this out already….but unfortunately I was tied up on something and Kristian got caught up out in traffic so The Bar didn’t happen. We will do 4 Bars in October to make up for it! Sorry for the inconvenience! - PLD

AUGUST NEWSLETTER FROM KRISTIAN

Hello everybody. Hope you’re all doing well. Exciting stuff happening in the world of the channel and other things. The first thing is that I’m really excited about how well The Bar came out. We were excited to get everybody together and have conversations with people just hanging out telling each other about one another, laughing, and putting together ideas about what we all can do. It’s been great to not only see some of the regular faces, but to learn some new ones. I hope that if you were ever part of the one on ones that you come by and check out The Bar. It’s a lot of fun. For those people who’ve never done one on ones, consider it and learn the community! It’s really been a blast.

We are getting rolling with these reactions. I’ve been pretty busy with things overall, as you know, I’m in one man operation for the most part. Thank God for both PLD and Brett. But the day-to-day operations is fun and challenging at the same time. The studio is moving, but I start working at 9 AM and the next thing I know it’s time to go home for dinner and be with the kids and the family. I get a lot done but there’s also a lot more to be done. So I’m working hard on trying to get these reactions done. I’m putting together a list of all of the topics and new movies and people that you will be meeting. And it is going to be a great addition.

Here is a big change that is probably going to be coming, but I’m working on it and haven’t made a decision yet but you guys are the first ones to hear about it. I am pretty sure that I’m going to change the name of the Big Thing Podcast. i’ve never done a show that has just been my name. I did 1 on 1 with Kristian Harloff so I guess I did an interview show show that had my name but the channel is my name and I think that the Podcast will become that also. it allows me to do everything that I wanna do on the show and promote it and be able to pitch it to new people who are coming on the show. We’ve had some really fun guests already and we’re gonna get even more guests on the show. I'm working on some logos and other things.

September October, November and December should be busier than August in terms of movies. August was fairly dead. But there’s a lot of stuff coming in. And movies in September until the end of the year. So it shall be exciting.

The comic book that Wicked Art did. It’s so damn good. And he has been part of The Bar and I’m glad so many people have had a chance to meet him and give him some updates on what they like about his art, writing. As an creator, I can tell you that stuff is super helpful. so we have more things coming, more interviews, more shows, more people. I’m excited for all of you to see it. As I think you guys every month when I do these, I thank you again. You really do something huge. You help this show to continue and you are the hard-core supporters and I am so thankful for you.

Samm's first appearance on the show was October of 2011. He was supposed to come in to chat remakes and reboots and once he started telling his stories about being on the set of Inglorious Bastards, we just let him go. We are glad we did and you will be to!
