Another wordy comic, I think Uther speech in the middle panel is the biggest speech ballon I ever wrote.

People pointed Warsong Commander (green person) did not look female on the previous comic so I tried to make her extra pretty on this one.

Patron Nerf 4

This comic got insanely wordy in the final version, which is never a good thing. I feel I could stretch this joke into 2 (the secret popping, and Valeera running away) but I like to avoid making arcs any longer than necessary.

On panel 4 I feel people would no notice the "preparation + sprint" gag if she was not holding the poison and dagger so I changed it on the final version.

All in all, this is one of the pages which takes the effort of 2 to make, and the deck is still not ne...

New Colors

I'm slowly updating all colors of my characters so I decided to share some of the concepts here.

Looking back, I see tons of errors in the original.  I like A but I'm not changing her hair color, and F was just me joking about how I used to over-satured all my designs. In the end it's a toss up between E and C.

So, which one you prefer, E or C?

Sketch Mine

The last panel alone was more complicated than some of the previous comics I made in the past and it's still not like I wanted it to be. Looking back I should angled the door so you could only see the body of the girls sticking out, however I really wanted to show Angie in the back but she was not really needed to tell the joke. Basically, I made the panel poorer to put an element which was not needed.

Sketch No Place Like Home

Compared with the final page, the sketch of this one was pretty detailed and close to the final product because group pics and machinery are hard to do for me so I need the sketch to be on point.

I really dislike the hands on the last panel. Something I promissed I'd focus more on a next time.

Sketch Gibus Poor

For a long time I tried to make something fancy for the sketch session but I always run out of time and end up doing nothing, so I'll just put it as it is and try to put some insight here on the comments.

The sketch is very simple, sometimes I do the hard work on the lineart and that was the case here when there isn't anything specially hard to draw.

I like how dynamic Anne is on the last panel and carried the strip on it. I also tried some changes in the color...

I'm not happy with the current art of Nerf NOW!! (artists are never happy) so I been trying to change it a bit.

Of course, doing single black and whilte doodles are far easier than doing a daily comic with color and text. Finding the balance of the quality I want with what I can delivery in time is what I been trying to do.

I feel bad for uploading so few sketchs. The truth is I haven't draw too much outside of Nerf NOW!! and patreon rewards.

Even playing new games sometimes end up like a "chore" because it's something I need to do to stay current. Sure, it's an awesome chore but sometimes I'd prefer to just chill playing TF2 again.

Looking ahead

I'd like to thank you guy for all those months of support. It because of you guys I can, for example, do the current mini-arc showing the girls personality without worrying too much about it not making as much money as, say, a DOTA 2 strip.

Sketch 8

Sometimes before I try to make a change in style I try to sketch it a bit to see if it's viable time wise, usually I draw some pages like that to test it. If I like the result, changes will be made so those pages sometimes are a preview of future changes.

Rejected Panel

Originally for the "emergency button" comic I wanted to put Anne in a bunny suit but since the comic would be up after easter I changed the idea a bit. After some thought I decided doing this with Morgan would be funnier and I end up never using Anne pose. While Anne pic is perhaps sexier, I think Morgan reaction is funnier and for NN strips, I'll usually pick funny over sexy.
