You may have noticed that Leaving DNA incorporates a relatively racially diverse cast of characters.  This is actually a bit harder than it looks because Daz3D appears to be marketed to a largely white user base, so most Daz assets are for white models.

Hey everybody.  The lunch scene with Jamie and Seo Jun ended up taking longer than I hoped and I didn't finish it until this morning.  All of the renders just took so long.  The worst offender was a closeup of Jamie I did in 4K which was a six-hour render (!!!) and which I redid because I didn't like the camera angle, but even spot renders took so long.  Anyways, that scene is done and today I started working on the wedding.

Jamie won the Episode Two "Best Girl" vote by a landslide!  I'm not surprised she won, but I was surprised by how much she won, garnering over half the vote.  Let's see if Aghavni, Malena, and Emmeline grow in popularity as the story progresses.

Hey everybody.  This week I finished work on the renders for Malena's apartment in the opening scene of the episode.  I also worked on the training scene at the park, but I really struggled to get it right, making mistakes with lighting and with trying to fill in the background.  After a few days of having to redo renders from the scene multiple times, I decided to step away from it for awhile and I have started working on the first courtroom scene.

Hey everybody!

The last two weeks have really been great for our supporter numbers--we've basically doubled in size.  As I've said before, I'll never make a profit on Leaving DNA from Patreon/SubscribeStar, I've just invested too much and the game is too niche.  But with your help I think I will eventually  get to the point where I'm at least no longer losing money every month.  That gives me confidence to continue spending to make this game as good as I can make it....

Hey everybody!  To all of my wonderful supporters who helped me get Episode Two out, thank you!  You guys are awesome.  I hope you've all had a chance to play it and I hope it was worth the wait.  For all of my new supporters, welcome, and whether you're here for awhile or just popped in to get the update, thank you!

LDNA: Episode Two is now available to be downloaded for free by everyone.  Please note that this will be the last public release.  Episodes Three through Eight will only be available to supporters or through purchasing the game on Itch or Steam.

Hey everybody.  I ended up a bit ahead of schedule and am now releasing LDNA: Episode Two for Supporter and Bigger Supporter tiers.  The update will be released to the public in three days.

Hey everybody!  I promised you an all-tiers special render--I hope you enjoy Aghavni and Jamie at the beach. 😁 4K files are attached.

Playtesters are currently going through the update.  Animator is almost finished with the final animation.  Biggest Supporters should have Episode Two at some point on Monday.  Supporters and Bigger Supporters will have it two days later.

I'm close enough to being done that I could just reach out my neck and bite Episode Two right in the ass.  Still renders total 2,290 and I've now rendered 11 animations.  I have less than a hundred renders to go and the animator is working on posing the final three animations.

Hey everybody.  The release gets closer every day.  Post-worked still renders total 2,216 and there are seven animations completely rendered.  Two additional animations are completed and pending being rendered, and the animator is working on five additional animations.  My best estimate is that I have about 150 still renders left to go, and then the update will have to go through playtesting and revisions.
