Vore Tournament 2.0.0 Alpha - Release Target Announcement

The time has come to unveil my plans for the first Vore Tournament release. A lot of users have been waiting for this announcement, and asking when a release of the new Vore Tournament is going happen. I heard you and have not been ignoring this important public demand! However I needed time to think about the various aspects, as well as making sure there are no major bugs that would cause total breakage. Although I'm still working some things out, I believe I have decided on the primary points,...

Her Chocolate Bunny

Lo and behold, my submission for this year's Easter! And what better way to celebrate it than showing everyone's favorite bunny eating... oops: You might want to close your browser tab quickly, and hope it's not too late for you. Or you might want to hope that it is, you know best there.

I must say, I'm quite proud of how it turned out: This must be the highest standard render I've made thus far! Also the first one I've done in 2 x 1080p (I assume 2160p is an official resolution). It was rende...

Toughest choice of a Linux user

Something that had to be done. Why? I have no idea! Figured it would be fun to do a little something for Linux users around the community. I've also been wondering whether I can draw characters other than the ones I'm used to, granted I never actually went ahead and tried it... with this I answered myself a solid yes.

Characters from left to right:

- Tux, Linux: http://linux.org

- Geeko, openSUSE: 2017-03-20 23:23:14 +0000 UTC View Post

Digital Economy Bill artist challenge

Since I'm sharing this in a variety of places, this shouldn't be considered a Patreon specific post but more like a thing I'm also sharing here among other places. On a semi related note, drawn art might become an additional thing on this Patreon eventually, without of course getting in the way of animations or game development... it will depend on how much people like it I guess? Anyway:

Some  might have seen my recent posts regarding the Digital Economy Bill, or  heard about it fro...

Feature pool announcement: Stomach Board vs. Grabber Gun

I decided to announce this in a separate post: I've now published the first Vore Tournament pool, which will be open for about two weeks from now! In it I'm asking the community which of the remaining components you would like me to port first: The Stomach Board HUD panel, or the Grabber gun. More info is present in the pool itself.

The pool is available to $25 patrons or more, as that is the Patreon tier for pools and suggestions. If you wish to cast an official vote, please consider selectin...

Town & City tileset packs

I thought it's time I post about an achievement other than just VT. Which of course is still in the focus, and I'm preparing a pool about upcoming plans soon. This month I've been busier working on a few other projects, some which I might post about in a limited fashion on Patreon.

Anyway a short recap on this: Many of the games I'm making are RPG games, which I develop in the OHRRPGCE engine. It's an awesome FOSS alternative to RPG Maker, which is quite powerful despite its DOS era graphics a...

Going monthly

As announced last month, my Patreon page is now monthly and no longer per-project. I believe this is better suited for how I develop my projects, and should clear and prevent any doubts for patrons who were afraid that I could charge multiple times per month.

Please note that I have not enabled the "charge up front" feature. I understand it's a permanent modification, aimed at preventing patrons from retracting their pledges before the start of the month. While I'd like to avoid this, I'd rath...

Switching my Patreon to monthly

After some thinking, I considered switching my Patreon to "monthly" rather than "per project". Obviously I'd rather make such a change after consulting existing patrons first, hence why this post; I'd like people to share their feedback on the matter if they wish, and will take the decision based on it sometime next month. As always I read all replies, so leave one below if you want to share your thoughts. This is my reasoning for the change, which I do ask everyone to read first:

Blue & Yellow - $100 Patreon request

I'm happy to announce my first ever patron request for Vore Tournament 2.0, available for the $100 tier. A huge shout out to Smokey for their support, and I hope you like how it turned out!

For this month I set up two new characters for Vore Tournament: A beloved blue vixen (requested) plus a beloved yellow one (additional). Of course they can be colorized by the player in-game like all other characters... that's just the canon appearance the bunch is based on! I've actually made basic Xonotic...

Vore Tournament featured in Polish computer magazine

Someone reminded me of this recently, and I thought it would be a funny thing to share with everyone: In February of 2015, the original Vore Tournament game was featured on the cover of a Polish computer magazine. I was not aware of that until it was brought to my attention, and in fact quite shocked that it happened: Not because I mind which I obviously do not, but because it's not something I would have expected to happen especially with a game such as VT.

Vore Tournament 2.0 - Vore crosshair & rings

Today brings a new essential feature to Vore Tournament 2.0: The vore crosshair and progress rings are back, under a new elegant design!

The old "!" and "?" signs once again indicate whether the targeted player is an ally or a foe. The top and bottom parts of the circle change color to represent possible pred and prey actions: Bottom indicates whether you can eat the given player, top indicates whether they can eat you. The inner ring represents your predator progress, the outer ring shows you...

How I code for Vore Tournament

Although the pic is part of a series I've been doing for a few years now, it nicely encompasses one way I like to view the process of me coding Vore Tournament... especially since that's exactly what's compiling on the two screens there! A shame not every developer has such an exciting way of being motivated to get better at programming :)

Vore Tournament 2.0 - New anthropomorphic character set now available on GIT!

Today I'm happy to announce a surprise feature for Vore Tournament. To be fair this was a total surprise for me as well... granted it was one of those things that suddenly pops to mind, and leads you to say "I have to do this straight away". It took a week of continuous work to achieve, but in the end I was very satisfied with the results. So, what is this all about:

Some of you might have seen my earlier post, in which I announced a set of anthropomorphic characters for TheDarkMod. They were ...

Judy's Break

It's been quite a while since a finished animation has seen the light of day... and at long last, it has happened! This is a Judy Hopps camera track I started working on this spring, rendered out during the course of the summer, adding extra sound effects today and finally declaring it finished. I'm not happy with the animation turning out a bit unnatural, and a bug in Blender forcing me to disable motion blur... other than that however, I like how it came out.

As this is a finished animation ...

Fluttershy's Visit: Fixed Version! (April Fools edition)

Watch the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pD9sT7Vqe6I

Well, I'm not going to lie about it here: There is no fixed version of Fluttershy's Visit. There is however a creepypasta version, which you are about to watch if you click the link above! This is a quick edit of the original blend, intended as a submission for the wonderful day of 1 April. Since it wasn't intended as a serious project, nor th...

Still alive!

Although I've made posts like this in the past, I feel obligated to do so again. This is a friendly reminder that I am not dead, nor have I abandoned Patreon: I'm still here and working on new things to post! Just... very slowly. I know I've barely done anything during the last months, and some might be worried because of this.

There is a combination of factors involved: One is that I've been slightly busier since last autumn, when I've signed up for what I guess could be called my first a...

Tea time - 16 page render - September 2015 project

After much work on the customizable anthro model, I was able to finish and start rendering this little scene I got started on last month. It is my first multi-image series, consisting of 16 still renders. The viewer is a small human, who after waking up in a cup of tea finds himself drank down by a big foxgirl :)

As the last few pages are still in the process of rendering, I will be posting them in batches. With the end of the month approaching and a minimum of 4 pages done, I decided to p...

Important Patreon pool - Charging for images

After a bit of thinking, I decided to address this question to my watchers and especially to everyone who has pledged or plans to pledge on my Patreon, since it's something I found it fair to consult you on. Please post your opinion and vote in a comment, all replies will be read and analyzed.

As you know, I currently charge per animation or game release. I am however considering charging for still images as well. Namely 3D renders, although I might count drawn art in if I'm happy w...

Vore Tournament (ongoing furry vore game)

My only game project so far. VT is a game forked from Nexuiz and based on the Darkplaces engine (Quake 1). It is a modern first person shooter where you play as a fox, and must eat and digest other players in order to score. The project is currently on hold, but still ongoing and awaiting new updates.
