So I've started snipping and re-purposing parts of my old models for new models.
For example, wings take forever to sculpt. So sometimes I like to import some wings I've already made, and adjust them to fit the personality of my new model.

Its been fun modeling this cranky mule!
I was about to sculpt the standard barrels, boxes and bags... but then I was curious if you had something unique in mind?
Maybe a pick axe? Bed rolls? Lantern?
Let me know what you think the mule should be carrying! :)
P.S. The mule hasn't been posed yet, and the base shape isn't quite final yet. For example the bridle is much more pronounced than the breast collar. That'll be fixed :3

The German Shepherd was the winner for the dog breed poll!
A few of you commented/messaged me saying the Shepherd would be too similar to the wolf. So I made sure to make it distinct by giving it that low hip walk you see in professionally trained Shepherds. I also textured the fur much differently :)
Overall I'm very pleased with how different it is from the wolf!

I wanted to start July off strong, so here's a dragon!
I think this is my best dragon head so far! I'm really pleased with this overall~ I pretty much never sculpt from scratch so it was good practice! This dude with just spheres at one point.
It is optimized for FDM and resin 3D printers. The spikes on his jaw will be the worst part for FDM, but the rest of it shouldn't be too bad :D If you print him with a 60mm base on resin, make sure to make it hollow! I like using Meshmixe...

I will be reusing assets. They will not be identical however. This will allow me to allocate my time better to creating new, unique models. Plus, with a Kickstarter with 50 models I doubt it is going to hurt the variety haha

Like, a cat pretty much looks like a cat give or take some floof.
So what breed do you want to see? I want to pick a big dog because a chihuahua is going to be way too teeny tiny. (And big dogs are my favorite)

I had fun with this one~ After the awesome feedback on yesterday's poll, I felt like I had plenty of time to add as many details as I wanted. I spent a lot of time on the pose too. Slowly getting better with anatomy and understanding how the body moves.
A small aside, her body is not realistic. To all my fellow ladies out there, don't forget that! She has a very similar physique to Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin. I think the exaggerated features are very beneficial from a desig...

Almost done! Playing with the pose a bit first. This is a commission piece, so I'm not taking recommendations for changes. Though, normally I encourage commentary ;D
Now~ for the next Kickstarter! I will release in October. And as much as I've enjoyed the madness of planning and modeling my current Kickstarter in 2 weeks... Let's not do that again lol
