What I Learned

• Wait for your paint to dry ALL the way before starting your next coat. No. Really. Wait.
• Wet palettes are magic.
• Thin coats are always your friend, so don't load up the brush. 
• Washes are magic, but they also make everything look dirty. Go back with the base color for clean up/highlights. 
• If you can't blend, make it an artistic seam. *See bottom of skirt thing haha*
• Keep your paint water FAR AW...

For $20 you pick 2 minis of mine, and then I send them to your door. They will be solid resin, sanded, primed, and ready for paint. The $20 covers shipping and packaging fees as well.

Most of you have 3D printers and zero need for this, but just in case you need a way to make these 3D models physical :)

I have printed this guy twice at 28mm scale, and he looked really good! The tentacles are actually quite sturdy.

February Model Plan - What are you excited for?

Hiya!

Here are the models I plan to make/finish in February. These will technically be released March 1st, but I'm still excited! Early birds get them asap per usuaul.

I want to post more work in progress pictures so you guys have the option to give me feedback if you like.

The results of this poll will help determine what I'm going to make next!

There was an overwhelming positive response for 2 poses and 2 weapons. I'm excited for this! I did this with the Ettercap, and I think it will really benefit my models. It will also be a fun challenge~

YouTube Video - Meshmixer Supports

A little overview about how I use Meshmixer supports for resin 3D printing.

I specifically go over when you click to add a support, and nothing happens. This used to drive me crazy haha I don't have a perfect solution, but I detail how I fit it. May not be the best way to do supports, but my methods have been really successful for me. I can count all of my failed prints on one hand after going through around 6 liters of resin. Hope it is helpful for you!

Fae Exclusive Model Release

Hi everyone!

Some people are pretty bummed out that the Fae will only go to the $5 tier. I didn't expect it to be such a bummer, so I've revised things. After all, I'm not a totally unreasonable gal haha

Fae WILL be released to the $3 tier February 1st with all the other goodies.

Now, this may seem unfair to the $5+ tiers doesn't it?

I believe it is still fair because the $5+ tiers will be the only people allowed to vot...
