“Housecleaning” on the game continues on. As everything in the game is interconnected, each time I pull on one thread, it unravels more than I anticipated and I end up with more to fix than I started with.

Okay, headline is a bit melodramatic, but it's been a lot of struggling in the last month and a half.

So, bit of bad news first: After trying pretty much every reasonable thing I could come up with, I just can't find a way to handle positioning of long hair for the protagonist. If it needs to be moved at all, I just can't get the different color versions and the masks to line up properly, meaning far too much image editing time...

With the size of the game growing with every update, I thought it might be a good time to look into space-saving options again.
Ren'Py used to have JCC as an option for images with transparent backgrounds: This would save the image and the alpha channel as lossy JPGs, reassembling them in-game.

I spent yesterday morning and most of the afternoon doing a play-test for the status system (and fighting bugs...lots and lots of bugs). To get the most out of it, I kept a running list of which scenes I saw in the process and which days I saw them on.

Update 2: I've replaced the Android files AGAIN. I've tested this file on an Android tablet and it works for me, and I've uploaded these as new files rather than overwriting the previous ones. Hopefully it works properly this time.
