October Schedule Plus Witchtober!

Sunday Snippets: Nameless Project

Hi folks, so I wondered whether maybe I might start sharing the odd snippets of my fic WIP's as well as art WIP's, and I figured I could start with a new multi-chaptered BKDK fic that I've been scratching my head over for a while.

Like Cat Puns, and DEADICATION, this fic will be an AU, in which Izuku is a researcher as a facility that detains and investigates unusual entities and oddities, one of which is none other than Katsuki.

Quick Update!

Hi folks!

I know my Patreon has been pretty quiet the last couple of weeks. Long story short, I had a bit of a sudden upheaval, with no access to my laptop for writing, and limited access to my ipad to do any artwork! BUT I'm home now, and for the time being my schedule is pretty clear as I wait for the paperwork for my new job, so I'll do my very best to make up for the lack of content in the next two weeks.

Brief Update and Question Time!

Timelapse Video: Fantasy Bakugo

This piece was a gift for our lovely Crow, based on her own fantasy Kacchan!

I kinda ‘went with it’ for this piece. As you’ll see from the video, I did a really basic sketch, and then decided ‘to heck with this!’ and went straight to the details. I was curious how my artwork would look if I didn’t do ‘line work’ and painted to the sketch layer. I really like the look, and the amount of time it saved me.

Twin Stars Week: Day Six “Injury/Wounds” Timelapse

Hi folks! This video isn’t particularly long, turns out this piece was much easier and far more simple to execute than I thought it would be! Drawing faces in profile is really tough for me. Drawings faces up close in profile? Good god. But I was clearly having a good day because I didn’t struggle as much as I expected.

I really liked how I drew the blood for this, and how I‘ve emphasised the angular straight lines that I realise I’m using more and more. I DUNNO I feel like this...

Commission BKDK Apoc Au: Timelapse

The second timelapse video for this month, this time of a recent commission piece. I had a bit of a tough time with this one at the start, namely because it was a weirdly specific sort of pose to find reference for!

In the end, I cobbled together some useful reference of photos from wrestling matches, but as you can see in the timelapse it still took me a couple of goes to get a pose that felt natural.
