Patreon Updates

Hi folks! So, Patreon keeps yelling at me about changes to charges that they're making - where instead of being charged on the 1st of every month, Patrons will instead be charged monthly on the date they joined (ie, if you join my Patreon on the 26th, you'll be charged monthly on the 26th for as long as you are a Patron).

This basically means those of you who join toward the end of the month aren't charged for a new month on the 1st! I don't really see any negatives to that, and I thin...

I freaking LOVE this method of colouring, working from greyscale values to colour. It helps things feel a little less chaotic as I’m working, and it’s definitely helping my pieces to feel a little more harmonic.

I’ve been feeling a little frustrated with my values and colours lately, and I’ve always wanted to figure out this greyscale to colour thang, because painting greyscale makes it much easier for me to visualise. I think this one is a success!!

September NSFW: Demon Kacchan

So I kinda might be a little a lot in love with demon Kacchan so please don’t mind me if that’s what 90% of the stuff I draw is based on until it’s out of my system.

The concept is loosely based off a DKBK one-shot I wrote a couple of years ago, where Izuku is a monster hunter who can’t bring himself to kill Kacchan. It was always one of my favourites, so I might well expand on this AU a little bit.

I wasn't entirely happy with how this piece came out, in had a very different feel to it in my head, but it was still another good study, and I did really enjoy using gradient maps to colour the jewellery!

Fantasy Deku WIPs and PSD

I often get people requesting for me to draw more Deku, but honestly I find him so difficult?! Those big eyes never really seem to work in my style, so he ends up looking totally different each time I draw him. So, I figured maybe I should try and draw what I'm comfortable with - feral. Turns out, feral Deku is a LOT of fun to draw!

I'm still learning so much about my art lately, trying out new things and colouring styles. I'm still a long way off the 'goal' I have in mind - the colour...
