The tide is rising

Kinktober 2022 Update!

I have been a bit quiet lately because I have been working hard on creating these 30 original illustrations to:

1) Sell the originals 

2) Create a neat little Zine 

And honestly this is taking up most of my time at the moment. I hope I will get back to drawing the Comic soon but I need a little break. Also drawing Vince and Zazu like this for an entire month and then going back to giving them clothes and them not even having met yet is giving me emotional whiplash ...

Just wanted to let you guys peek behind the curtain and get a glimpse on what kind of special stuff I have been labouring away on 🤗
I am working on rough 300g aquarell paper with black indian ink and Umbra (if I remember correctly). I actually wanted to use sepia, but it didn't look warm enough for what I had imagined, but I bought a bottle of sepia anyway!

October in Venice

I spent the last week on vacation in Venice and this is the product of spending all my time walking around and marvelling at the buildings. Literally, that‘s all I do, I have no sense of orientation because all my brainmatter is occupied with sucking in details in the environment.

Somewhere near the end if Little Starling I want Zazu and Vince to visit Venice, the birthplace of opera as we know it today. They are on a quest to find someone to be able to solve somthing important…mayb...

Also: I don't know if I will ever put this into the comic but this night Zazu dumps his fiancé and instead has a short yet wild fling with the lady looking at him in the 4. panel (not the one with the hat)
