That got a bit heavy. I wonder if the Tanuki god has a tragic past? I'm mulling over the other factions to do in my game. At the moment I'm thinking orcs and an order of warrior nuns plus maybe horse people? What do you guys think? I might alternate and maybe do three of these minky ladies and then do a few orcs to mix it up a bit :D
In addition to the main factions I can do random wandering enemies and bosses. Maybe a few guest appearances from BTB charatcers :D

Minky Soldier Part 1
This month's vote pic! I hope to eventually use her as an asset for an RPG maker game. For now most of the assets I make will appear only as Patreon pinup content or as vote pics. If I ever get the game finished there will hopefully be a way to get it to my Patrons at a big discount. I won't count my chickens just yet at any rate. Making a game (even with RPG maker) is probably going to take a while...

Heavy Soldier Design
Another design. Each faction will have a number of different warrior types. Heavy, scout wizard, grenadier, healer etc... Different factions will have different strengths and weaknesses. Eg-None of this faction will be particularly beefy. This 'heavy' soldier is only really heavy by the standards of her own faction. Other factions such as orcs or gnoll will have much tougher heavy infantry. This faction's scouts may be superior though (ninja!).

This is the basic layout I'm planning on using in my game. A basic RPG combat system. The main difference will be that enemies lose their armour as they take damage (similar to 'Dungeon Thief'). The protagonists will either be pacifist monks that do not believe in killing (warriors of the Tanuki) or perhaps a police force of some sort that disarm and capture rather than killing.
I'm probably going to set it in a wolrd similar to BTB (or perhaps even actually BTB) but I was also thinking...
