I think the frantic pace and the jumping from ideas has been down to the pace at which I'm writing the story this time. I have a deadline that's coming up that I need to meet, and it's meant that a lot of the ideas that usually have a bit more time to perculate are being thrown into words.

It's been fantastic getting a little bit of validation that we're moving in the right direction. Skill-Master is continuing to get a bit more love, and you'll hopefully see some things that make sense.

So yeah, the indecision is strong at the start of books and you're all going to see that because we're doing this live. There will be some ret-cons as we go, because I'm not exactly sure what the stakes should be between Sal and Quest for him to use his Skill Master ability. Just know that in later chapters, if I contradict myself, it's likely because I found a better solution or something I'm happy with.
